Adult games you wish someone would make a better version of?

I think is about time for a(nother) BIG BROTHER remake!! It already been like 3 weeks since the last one!!!
 
ILLUSION games. They were really good on what they did, it's no accident that to this day many devs use their games as the source for their render.
Good as they were, obviously had room for improvement. Some older titles had some features that their last, more popular ones didn't have.
It's a shame the company is no more...
 
There's quite a few games that have renders smaller than 1080 that would just need a rerender at a better resolution to improve.
Then there's a few games where I'd just swap out a character model with another... Imagine a world where you have the same lewd games, but you get a really spiffy character creator for characters to insert in the scenes.... Technically it's already doable I bet....
 
AWAM, JOHN and Summer Story. No blueballing versions of each. Also, not kinetic novels, like some were that tried for AWAM.
 
Another Chance. Cut the bullshit grind and convoluted things needed to progress some events.

Ecchi Sensei. Not abandonning it.

Dual Familly. A shame.

Signed. I wish, someone take the best of all Illusion Games and put it together to an awesome new game with full mod support.
 
Misfits, great premise.

But some of the characters facial expressions are horrible. The MC is spineless when he should be assertive and angry about the NTR when choosing those options. it just takes me out of the story.

Yeah, rpgm is just awful, wish they'd not use it. I don't play any games that do. Learned my lesson a while ago on that. Hate having to navigate, especially on maps with graphics bad by late 1980s standards.

It has the most incredible... bones. If it was fleshed out more and not such a patchwork mess, it could be the gold standard for depraved smut.

That's not actually a limitation of RPGM. It supports completely custom graphics, that is, if the dev takes the time to implement it. Yes, the default tile sets can look outdated (and pretty bad at times), but the engine isn't limited to using them. My biggest gripe about RPGM is the lack of 'free' movement. It often feels very much like you're moving around on a grid. I mean, you are, but it shouldn't feel like it.
 
Monster Girl 1000. It was never going to be a 'serious' game, but it had a lot of potential. Sure, the premise was a bit silly… Oh look, you're one of only a handful of men left in the whole world so nearly everyone wants you. It starts as a fairly lighthearted game. A mix developing you character's stats and equipment, improving/expanding you home town, and choosing quests to complete while pushing the story further. But, at some point in the game it starts to feel like the dev was just rushing to finish. There's more VN and a bit less open gameplay, a lack of a sense of agency compared to earlier in the game. It feels like the player is suddenly just along for the ride. And the sudden, and unwanted, sharing didn't help. When the story finally reaches its climax, it felt like it happened too abruptly, and was a bit on the cheesy side. Rather than continuing toward the primary objective/goal that was constant throughout, it was abruptly tossed aside with a (rather lame) bit of story to 'justify;' why it wasn't needed anymore. Post finale gameplay felt like someone else had finished it. There were notable inconsistencies, and tedious grind to complete achievements with only the tiniest amount of new content.
 
I try to keep an open mind and let every story stand on its own merit. If I were to go in and do a "remake" of someone else's story, it would no longer be their story but mine. One thing I will say though is that there are a great many stories that are derailed by poor writing. Whether it be, a language barrier, lack of focus or just plain awful literary writing skills, the "writing" is what makes many stories in my opinion, need a "remake". As a writer myself (freelance columnist and researcher) there are many times where I want to go in to a story, rip the script apart and just go through it line by line and fix the god awful writing.
