Sorry, had to do some research. I can't have Cilantro- I'm one of those people that think it tastes like soap.
Fortunately, the leaves (cilantro) and the seeds (coriander) are already used in the pickling process...and have completely different flavours. I was kinda scare there for a second. That was almost a deal-breaker.
Might go pick some up tomorrow.

Well, yeah, you should play it TOO! It's awesome. Been developed by the community for ages.

But since you talked about sprites over ascii it reminded me of cdda, as that game does exactly that. The base version is in ascii and there's quite a few mods that change every symbol/group of symbols to sprites.

And again, it's completely open source so you can sift through the code and see how everything's done!

Edit: apparently there's a paid steam version these days. I'm not talking about that.


I try not to go over 10 tabs. Currently I have 11 + 1 search tab. You guys are insane.

It might just be me, but the thought of "Slime girls/Jelly girls" is pretty friggin' hot.

Hello everyone!
The day before yesterday I finally released the Beta of version 0.11.
What's new?

• 255 images
• 5800 words
• 3 huge animations (1480 frames)

The update turned out to be pretty light and fun. In fact, it is such a rest before the important events that will follow. You should especially like the animations. I think they're the best I've ever done. And they're huge! About 500 frames each (took 3 weeks to render them). I hope you enjoyed them!
In general, working on this update has been hard for me. Working in the evening, after my main job, is not as easy now as it was a few years ago. In June, I didn't do anything related to the game for two and a half weeks. I just came home and couldn't bring myself to do anything. Only closer to July I got back in shape and worked every day. Now the main thing is not to lose my fervor and continue to work hard in August.
Plus there were big problems with editing. I finished the main work on the update 2 weeks ago, and all this time I've been doing purely editorial work - rewriting text, redoing raiders, changing some animations. Last week I decided to add another scene at the end altogether, so that the chapter would end in a more appropriate place. And even so, I'm still not sure about some things. Anyway, my morbid perfectionism is on full display here! I hope it was worth it and you enjoy it.
Thank you so much for your support! Wait for the update to come out for your level, and I'm off to work on chapter 12. I have two weekends ahead of me, and I have to try to make the most of them!

Funny thing, I tried to watch a few clips and you're right - it did not age well ;-p Having said that, I listening to a clip of the Green Ranger playing his dagger flute and still got some tingles, so I guess Pavlov works in mysterious ways.

These were well crafted and beautifully executed classic Horror films. They far outshine the crap that's mass-produced these days. There is a myth and lore that you just don't get with recent Horror. A jump scare isn't scary- it's a crutch.

I've been watching "Horrible Histories", but been dealing with some corrupt files- so now I have re-DL some them. Fun.

I've made this rant before. It's insane they'll spend an entire day marathoning an American show just because one of the lead actors has an accent.

So, it's not just me?
I want to see what's on the "Beeb" AND not have to pay for a "Britbox" subscription. The only "BBC" thing about it are the "Earth" specials and I had to stop watching those too.
Don't get me wrong- they're incredible and educational, BUT when Sir David Attenborough almost has me in tears over the plight of a fuckin' termite...something is wrong.
He has such emotion and empathy in his voice that when he says, "And if the termites don't find a place to build a new colony before the cold winds of winter blow an entire generation may be wiped out forever never to return."
At first you think "Awww, that's so terrible", BUT then you realize their new colony is somewhere in YOUR fuckin' house costing you hundreds- if not thousands of dollars to repair.
So, yeah, fuck termites.
