I knew a person in Taekwondo in the Olympics 8 years ago, it was nearly impossible to watch. I couldn't even watch it live, nobody had it live, just replays. Must be a USA thing, nobody watches it here, so why bother broadcasting?
In the UK it used to be that the BBC could afford to get the broadcasting rights from the IOC so a lot of it was free to air and with the advent of streaming they were showing a lot of different events. Now Eurosport through WB Discovery have the rights across whole of Europe and the UK with BBC paying for a much reduced product from them, and sadly the only way to get Eurosport in the UK I know of is with a Sky subscription which I can't afford. Ultimately it seem's like the limiting factor on how much we can watch from home these days is broadcast rights contracts and the money paid for them rather than the actual technology required to broadcast that much sporting action.:(

you got bunch of pirate streams for that, you can search in google for. its for all sports and was also only way for me to follow ufc on it and other fighting sports. or you can simply download better quality via torrents, usually its uploaded up to hour or even sooner when its done.

I eventually found a Philippines (i think) stream to watch. But, I don't speak the language, so it was kind of anti-climactic.

15 minutes delay, too

I'll be honest, I've never used a pirate stream for any sort of TV and in reality am probably a little too paranoid to try and too inept to succeed. I get nervous enough about having to turn off my VPN to allow me to watch BBC even though I am in the UK and using a UK location on the VPN. I'm just always bricking it that I am exposing myself to viruses and other malware. And yes I know that that may seem a little inconsistent with my presence here but all I can say is, 'that I'm human and am an absolute mess of contradictions, as are we all I think'.

Edit:- Tl:dr I suppose what I mean is that, both on-line and in real life I struggle with knowing who/what to trust, especially when it comes to computers/internet.

well i have used them for years. had group of ppl were were watching together and have fun, till we stop. never had issues, but as i said, torrents are also valid option (skip of boring stuff is much welcome there) and since lots of sports are happening during normal ppl sleeping time also handy.

and you can also always use proxy if need it
