that pic is too good, unfortunately I'm not allowed to view it because apparently not a super duper VIP member. but that's ok, there's a very high fake discount for the fake coins. I earn about 200 points a day. assuming the discount remains, I only need 120 days to finally unlock full site content.

Reminds me of Sony Playstation. I used my real name for my PSN when they started around PS3 days. Sony contact me that I could not use my real info for my PSN... ok, seemed off and I am an honorable man who tries not to hide behind my screen, but I changed it.
Fast forward about 5 years and Sony has this, "ground breaking idea" to start using real IDs online (following suit with, facebook, i think. I dont use it, so the memory is hazy) and they asked me to start using my real name. Those motherfuckers made me change it in the first place!

Yeah, I saw it. It's part of a whole conversation that I keep facepalming to, because it's linked to the "getting x hours out of a game" idea.
This idea that games are worth more, if you can spend more of your time in them.
There was an interesting rant somewhere by Josh Strife Hayes on why we value games less nowadays.
...the point that games used to have the "this is the end" moment, where you had done everything you could do, the game told you: "You've done everything, nice job" and the game ends.
That's it. No reason to play on. So you end that game and put it aside at the very apex of your enjoyment. You'll remember that game at its best, at its most fun.
Nowadays, games are turned into these endless repeatable time-wasters that you keep playing and playing and they get less and less fun. And when you finally put them aside, you do it 'cause you're sick of it. Sick of the gameplay, sick of the characters, sick of the game. So your memories of that game won't be nearly as good.
That's it. No reason to play on. So you end that game and put it aside at the very apex of your enjoyment. You'll remember that game at its best, at its most fun.

I agree with the underlying idea. Games aren't good just because they can make you waste a lot of time. I prefer a game giving you 10 hours of an amazing time, rather than 10 hours that are fun, 20 hours that are so-so and 30 hours that you just do because you want to get it done and end it.
From my point of view, the whole "let's make a game sandbox or open world and stretch out it as long as we can" is the completely wrong direction.
It seeks to make players busy, to occupy their time, to create a presence in their life.
It doesn't try to make it fun.
GTA VI's approach, as far as I'm concerned, is a continuation of the idea of "games as a service", something that's tied to your existence, becomes a habit, a daily pattern, not a fun hobby.
So what they're essentially arguing is that they should get to make more money for a game they just don't really know how to properly make an ending for.

I'm not a huge coffee fan, but I do like mochas, lattes and drinks like that, where coffee is accompanied by milk and sometimes chocolate.
