discussion How do you decide to do "the business" when playing a new update / game?

So I recently had a discussion with an online friend of mine and discovered we play our games differently.

I play through the entire update and than go back to my favorite scene (by save or gallery) and do the business.

My friend on the other hand likes to pace himself and save the game as long as possible. He does it when he gets to a scene he likes and does it and will pick it back up at a later time.

How do you guys pace yourself?

Depends on the mood i guess... If it's right i'll invest time in the story and characters, if not ill just skip to the good parts...

I edge while I play. Sometimes this gets the better of me. If I can hold it, I also go back to the best scenes to finish

Yeah, that's pretty much me. I've had times where i've accidently gone over the edge and it wasn't even at a good time lol.

I don't even really do it while gaming. Sometimes i find a really good scene to use but most of the time i finish a game without doing it.

Like your friend. If i like a scene while playing I´m going for it, save the game and pick up the game later on. It happend to me that I go off on a scene and later tryed to pick the game on agian and was immidently aroused agian and have to wait agian to play on. Still i save all good scenes (when there is no gallerie) to may revisit a scenes.

I prefer to play and explore a story but I don't like to go back and look at the gallery I prefer, like your friend, to explore a new path. But I have the advantage of having my own flat.

Like your friend. I only replay games/scenes if theyre good or do something interesting or if its been a long time since i played. I recently went through eternum again after not touching it for like 2-3 years.

Maybe I've misunderstood your comment but, not having touched it for 2-3 years. You must have plenty in the tank to unload when you do get around to touching it!!
