I thought I'd do a Forum Quest, since I haven't seen any here. To those that don't know, a forum quest is basically a choose-your-own-adventure (google is your friend for more in-depth info), and I'll be using dice to help in certain areas. I envision this as a plot-with-porn story, so don't expect smut right away.

In the beginning I'll be advancing the story based on who answers seriously first. Later that will change.

What I mean by 'answers seriously' is that an answer given must be congruent with the story and setting. For example I say: You wake up in a cave, what do you see? You answer something along the lines as I see a dungeon core. OR Is that a dragon? OR Why am I surrounded by chanting cultists? OR something else that is still consistent with the story and context.

Something I won't except: On second look, I'm in a giant bouncy castle. This is unacceptable, because it was already established that the Main Character was in a cave.

For now, a lot of the answers will simply be about setting up the character, and world; exploring it as we go. That will change later, but for now, you can answer nearly anything, and I will accept that as the setting for the story. The setting may constantly evolve in the beginning, but will eventually settle down.

As an FYI there are certain fetishes I won't write, but I'm not going to list every fetish right now to tell you whether or not they're acceptable, that'll take too long.

So again: serious answers only please, smut isn't gonna be right away but it can happen, first come first serve answers (for now). And be respectful of other commentators, even if you don't like the opinion or direction of the story.

Also, important, I fully reserve the right to take the story in any direction I like, and that includes ending it at any time.

That being said:

You wake up and find yourself in a cave, what do you see? (To clarify: At this point what you describe as seeing will tell me both the method you were Isekai'd with, and potentially what type of setting the story takes place in. Be thoughtful and clear. Good Luck!)

(It was suggested I post the story so far:)

You are knocked awake suddenly with a sharp pain. Coming to awareness, you realize that your hands are tied up in front of you, securely holding your hands together. You feel your cell-phone in your pocket. In front of you are the weirdest group of goblins you've ever seen: red and ugly, with their skin stretched taut to their skull, near noseless, with long pointed ears. They wear green, woolen clothes, and half seem to be carrying iron, or perhaps steel weapons, the other half appear to be weaponless. In front of you on a dais, across piles of cracked and broken skeletons, stands an ogre (or, perhaps, a particularly large and ugly orc). He starts speaking in a low, deep, near growl.

An answering squeak startles you. Looking over your shoulder, you see another group of goblins as different from their red brethren as a housecat is from a tiger. While the green-cloaked redskins project an aura (figuratively) of ferocious intimidation by their very presence, this new group seems meeker than mice in contrast, even with the majority seeming to be armed. The new group are green-skinned, with black, grey, and white hair. They possess fatter noses and drooping, pointed ears. Half are shirtless, and they stand about the same height as the redskins. They stand there shivering in fear as one of them converses with the monster in front of you. They number perhaps a fourth of the redskins in front of you.

As the two groups of goblins converse with each other, you try to loosen your bindings:

1D20=15

You feel them loosen a bit, enough so that feeling starts to return to your hand. Before you can continue, you feel yourself yanked forward by one of the redskins, to stand directly in front of the... ogre, you decide. It looks directly down at you and speaks. It's complete gibberish, you can't understand a word he, it(?), says. At your lack of response the ogre narrows his eyes, and repeats himself. Again, you say nothing, intimidated and lacking in comprehension. The third time he tries to speak to you and you don't answer, he scratches his head in confusion, then makes a hand gesture, seeming to be bored of you. Another redskin takes ahold of your rope and starts leading you away.

You say nothing as the goblin leads you away, brushing past the greenskins, who flinch away from you and your escort, into a hallway outside the cave you awoke in. The redskin leads you silently down a tunnel, past intersections until finally leading you into a small room. He unties your bindings, says something to you, then leaves before you can reply.

With a glance around you see you've been left alone in a small room, with a ledge you can sit on. You try to calm yourself. Being thrust into this situation unexpectedly has been very stressful, not to mention meeting fictional fantasy creatures in real life! Even if they were considerably less violent than you expected.

Sitting down, you are reminded of the phone in your pocket. Pulling it out, seeing that one piece of reality, cracks your mind for a moment. You realize what had happened! You had been ISEKAI'd!!! This is something you've already day-dreamed about multiple times, but you never expected it to happen. And if there is anything you know about being isekai'd, its that this world's gods and goddesses 'Please for the love of God, let it be a Goddess' had to have had a hand in it. Now you just need them down here to explain some shit to you.

If there is one way you know of to get the attention of a Goddess, its praying.

You thrust out your hands confidently, cradling the phone, as if in supplication. You open your mouth to start praying, but stumble. You don't know any of this world's prayers! No matter, you'll make one up.

"O Goddesses of this World, Saintesses of Travelers, Adventurers and the Lost. Angels of the Holy and Messengers of the Divine. To any and all Beings of Power that will Listen and Help. I Beesech your Aid in a Dire Time of Need. Please. I Pray to You for Your Help."

1d100=69 (Author's Note: One 1d100 roll, and you fucking lewd crit. For those not in the know. 1 is a crit fail, 100 (or 20 on a 1d20) is a Nat Success/Cit. And in smut stories, a 69 or 34 are lewd crits, which mean usually a lewd scene of some kind. I was hoping to avoid those by sticking to 1d20, but this roll demanded a percentage roll, and you fucking hit a lewd crit. So I gotta honor that, lol.)

For a singular moment, nothing happened. But then with a soft-sounding *poof* that brought a sweet-smelling musk into your nostrils, you were suddenly face-to-cleavage with one of the most attractive women you'd ever seen. Taller than you by a head, and dressed in an eye-catching dress with expansive cleavage and slits roaming up both legs past her hips that showed her lack of panties. The woman in front of you was gorgeous. And incomprehensible.

"Hiub'gh ut Fir bellum." She said.

"Uh, what?" She crinkles her nose adorably at your reply. Then her face lights up in an absolutely devilish grin, and moves both hands slowly, slowly towards your face, taking an eternity to reach you.

As soon as she does, she brings her head down towards your level and places a soft kiss on your lips, for about a second. In the next second, her lips are pressed tight to your own, her tongue digging past your lips without hope of refusal from you. And it keeps going, sensuously licking across your own tongue then around it, harassing it into submission, before flicking away to to lick the back of your teeth. After some more swipes across them, she flicks her tongue to the right to lick your cheeks harshly from the inside, where you can feel them bulging from the rough treatment. After one side is finished, she then gives the same treatment to the other. Once done, she glides her tongue back to your own, before smoothly pressing further back into your throat, where her tongue-tip tickles, caresses, and bats at your uvula. Once she's satisfied bullying the entrance to your throat, she pulls back, letting her tongue swipe across the roof of your mouth before withdrawing entirely. Her tongue slips back into her mouth, which is opened in a mischievous, cat-that-ate-the-canary grin.

You are left panting deeply for breath, after being orally assaulted for the past three minutes without reprieve, or air.

She adorably shrugs her shoulders at your flustered, near-asphyxiated, expression. "There," She says, "that should work. Now, tell me why one of the Divine's pets are so far from their Sanctified territory. And so... vulnerable and defenseless."

I'll give this a go even if I'm not 100% I get everything.

I see a wooden club, my cellphone, and a long dark tunnel.

Alright, give me a second. Gonna be honest, you cut ahead a lot, lol. I was gonna introduce a single goblin later, and have you describe what he looked like, what he was wearing, if he had armor, or weapons, or like cyber arms, or if he was undead, etc., etc. to inform the setting some more. But the is the type of answer I'm looking for, so I wanna encourage that.

So quick clarifying question. Are these what the goblins look like, or is this just a quick pic?

But anyways, give me a couple minutes.

It was just a quick pic, they look a lot darker than intended

this probably would be better

Well, I had something written down, but that second pic has me crossing it all out lol. Is it a group of scared goblins now?

Don't worry, I can always combine posts as well. I plan to have the MC carrying his cell, as well as have a wooden club available.

You notice that your hands are tied to a fragile wood, maybe an old weapon stand

Oh, before I forget: First Person, Second Person, or Third Person Point-of-View? Which would you prefer reading in?

I personally like to read 1st Person, and it might be easy to write in second for the quest, but what do you prefer to read?

I've made a quick poll at the top to help answer this. I'm gonna eat lunch, while coming up with a story to fit the three answers I've received.

The pov may change later or it may not.

You might want to take a moment to clarify two things:
1: are you inviting multiple responses/answers, first come gets it, the one you like the best, etc?
2: are you the sole writer of the story or do you want others to jump in on that as well?

I think 2nd person generally works the best with an interactive story, though it can be trickier to write.

1. For now, because the answers determine the setting, I'm taking every serious answer in mind when I write. So for now, the reader is the one determining (e.i. writing) these things, if that makes sense? So for example, if someone had said they saw a dudgeon core, then it would be a dungeon core story, if they said, they saw a steel door set into the wall, it may have been a post-apocalypse story.

For right now, I am taking what I can get in terms of answers. Since I literally have no idea what the story is going to entail, I want to improvise things.

2. Eventually, soon, when the setting is set, then I will be the only one to fully write things out.

3. I think second person is easiest for me to write, but as a reader, I hate second person.

(So you prefer first person? Like...)

I look around and perceive a pocket knife and a short blade nearby me, perhaps i can pick them up to cut the ropes if the goblins aren't looking

(I really hope I can make another post after one of my own without getting banned.)

I feel like I've made things needlessly confusing, so I'm gonna start giving a few options to choose from while also allowing custom answers.

(This is my first quest I've ever written, and I haven't read a few since years past, so please forgive me.)

I will be using second person for now until the poll changes.

Alright, now for a few questions:
Is it an ogre or orc standing in front of you?
Do you understand what they are saying?
If yes, how? (The cell phone in your pocket is interpreting. Something in you head is interpreting (magic?). You already know the language through scholarly study or alternately, experience. Or is it other ? (Explain))
If no, what do you do? Look around more. Sit there quietly, Try to loosen the ropes. Listen. Other (Explain).

Yes, this is what I like to read, but I want to know what POV everyone else likes to read.

I do not understand what they are saying, it sounds like gibberish to me.
I try to loosen the ropes and see if I can get to my cell phone.

If this is the first one you've ever done: there are two ways you can approach it. You can have an ultimate story goal in mind or you can just go with the flow with no preconceived idea. The first leads to a better overall story, but the latter can be more enjoyable (and chaotic).
The problem with having a story in mind is its impossible to predict what others will do and thus you need to guide the choices (which you currently are). For example, in my original answer, I was going to be directing this story toward a prehistoric setting.
I might try writing one of these as well (hope you don't mind if I take the idea) as we're all trying to rack up our coins and these can be pretty fun.

Thread owner
The more the merrier, be my guest to try your own!

As to the other points, I don't have a goal in mind, which is why I had things set up as they were, but I also felt giving some choices to be more helpful.

I did forget to mention this: not understanding the goblin language will make the quest harder (not impossible, just more difficult), and more time-consuming to learn. Just wanted you to have that info, you don't actually have to change your answer unless you want to.

Whatever the story may be we still have to pick one of two options, if the story will be with or without cheat skills, it is an isekai after all

Absolutely! Though that option won't be right away.

I have a suggestion, to make the story readable since people may are going to post stuff that have nothing to do with the story maybe you can go transplanting the story from their posts to your first post of the thread so everyone can see it

That's actually a good idea, I didn't think of that. I won't do it everytime, but it certainly would be helpful.

Do you do anything, or allow yourself to be lead away?
(Besides being tied up, none of the goblins in either group seem to be very threatening towards you. Even the ogre seemed bored, rather than angry that you didn't reply to him.)
