How to use Multi-Quote/Multi-Reply?
First of all, what even is that?
If you want to reply to somebody, you usually hit the reply button.
But this only lets you reply to one person at a time, which can force you to spam multiple posts.
Neither the community nor the mods like to see this and it may well be that they will be deleted or edited.
So use the Multi-Quote function:
It's right next to the reply button.
This will add that post to a list and a post that is quoted will get a indicator for it, click on it again to remove it from the list.
Add as many posts as you want. Keep in mind that this list will be saved across threads, so if you +Quote in one thread you will be able to use this in another thread too.
After you selected all posts you want to reply to, go to the "Write your reply" box and click here:
It will open a window with all the posts you have added with the +Quote.
You can rearrange them by dragging them with the three lines or remove them.
As soon you click on "Quote Messages" all your selected Posts will get added as quotes in your own post, so you can reply to all of them at once!
Attention: Be careful with deleting parts of the quote, it can lead to some errors, thanks to the "user friendly" UI.
And don't forget: it's good etiquette to use the "Reply" or "Quote" function, users will receive a notification and know that someone has replied to them.
