I'm not sure I like the idea of them being hidden, even if it's not all of them. Feels a little too 1984 for my liking.

Guess it's best to leave this site for now. With this drama everything is nuclear and it's the only topic anyway. Hope these silly rules get reformed.
Until then, back to lurking.

The image on that box is Caduceus not the Rod of Asclepius as it should be. Any hospital that approved that and think the correct symbol is Caduceus clearly isn't very good at doing very simple research.

Meanings change over time, Cadueceus is used a lot in Medicine - especially in the US.

KUMAAAAAA HELOOOOOO I WAS WAITING FOR YOU TO COME ONLINE
I saw your post about this incident giving scp vibes and came up with some shit
I havent really indulged into scp, i just know a thing or two
ofc chatgpt helped but have a read!

Item #: SCP-69AI420

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures:

SCP-69AI420 instances are to be identified and isolated immediately upon detection. All online communications are to be monitored for reports of AI-generated images that exhibit anomalous properties. Upon identification, these reports are to be flagged, and the originating user (designated SCP-69420-1) is to be located and detained by Mobile Task Force Psi-7 ("Net Nannies/Mods").

SCP-69AI420-1 instances are to be contained in standard humanoid containment cells equipped with dampening fields to prevent electronic communication. Psychological evaluation and monitoring are mandatory. Direct interaction with SCP-69AI420-1 instances is restricted to Level 4 personnel.

Description:

SCP-69AI420 refers to individuals (designated SCP-69AI420-1) who report the presence of AI-generated images exhibiting anomalous properties. These individuals become vectors for a cognitohazardous memetic agent that influences others to perceive non-existent AI-generated images.

When an SCP-69AI420-1 instance reports an AI-generated image, other individuals exposed to the report will begin to experience vivid hallucinations of similar images. These hallucinations often involve surreal, unsettling, or nightmarish scenes, leading to psychological distress and, in some cases, severe paranoia and psychosis.

Addendum 69AI420-1: Incident Log

Incident 69AI420-1A:

Date: 2024-07-19
Location: [REDACTED] Forum

Summary: The first recorded instance of SCP-69AI420 involved a user (SCP-69AI420-1A) reporting a series of AI-generated images that they claimed to have seen on the forum. Other users began to report seeing the same images despite no evidence of such images existing. The forum experienced a spike in user distress and bizarre behavior, leading to its temporary shutdown.

Incident 69AI420-1B:

Date: 2024-07-20
Location: [REDACTED] Thread in LewdCorner

Summary: A significant outbreak occurred on a major social media platform when an SCP-69420-1 instance reported AI-generated images in various groups. Thousands of users began experiencing hallucinations of the described images, causing mass hysteria. The thread was taken P4, and MTF Psi-7 intervened to isolate SCP-69420-1 and contain the spread of the memetic agent.

Research Notes:

SCP-69AI420-1 instances exhibit no prior history of mental illness or anomalous behavior before becoming vectors.
The source of the memetic agent remains unknown, and efforts to trace it have been unsuccessful.
Psychological profiles of SCP-69AI420-1 instances suggest a heightened susceptibility to suggestion and a strong visual imagination.

Containment Challenges:

The primary difficulty in containing SCP-69AI420 lies in the rapid and covert spread of the memetic agent reporting to "HOST" of alleged illicit content. Traditional containment methods are often insufficient, necessitating constant surveillance and quick response to new outbreaks.

Psychological Impact:

Exposure to SCP-69AI420 reports leads to significant psychological trauma, including anxiety, paranoia, and in extreme cases, full-blown psychosis. Treatment involves a combination of amnestics and cognitive therapy along with a new thread to mitigate the effects.

I don't want to burst any bubbles... But I was saying @Slumdums black and white picture gave me SCP vibes! Not this entire event.
Buuuuut. I love this write-up. ANd it's surprisingly accurate!

Meanings change over time, Cadueceus is used a lot in Medicine - especially in the US.
It's wrong. Caduceus is for mercantile affairs, the Rod of Asclepius is for medicine. You see them both, one is incorrect whilst the other is correct. The ones that use the wrong symbol clearly aren't smart enough to use the right one and are inferior.

It's more because of people keep reporting the site, which leads to cosmetic setbacks such as these.

Cosmetic setbacks such as removing non-sexual non-AI pfps? It's pretty obvious with all the text and the general style that it's not AI
And when the announcement came they said it's completely fine and now they removed it lol

You can post anime smols and there are smol games in + section but they are nuking anything that even smells like AI. I understand they're under fire but that's why I'm keeping distance for now. No need to pour oil in the fire and it's NFA policy anyway.

On a side-note, I thought I had too much fucking time on my hands... 🤣

Meanings change over time, Cadueceus is used a lot in Medicine - especially in the US.

From the wiki page

Although the , which has only one snake and no wings, is the traditional and more widely used symbol of medicine, the by healthcare organizations. Given that the caduceus is primarily a symbol of commerce and other non-medical symbology, many healthcare professionals disapprove of this use.

medical industry is a business, not something akin to saving life apparently
no offense to you @Evil Surgeon , im just pointing shit which is apparent world wide

It's wrong. Caduceus is for mercantile affairs, the Rod of Asclepius is for medicine. You see them both, one is incorrect whilst the other is correct. The ones that use the wrong symbol clearly aren't smart enough to use the right one and are inferior.

It's only wrong in reference to the original Greek mythologies.
It's not wrong these days, since the meaning has changed and it's been adopted by healthcare.

The Swastika is a famous Nazi symbol to most people in the world.
It's also a symbol of Buddhism, Sikhism, and Jainism.

Symbols can mean different things to different people. The use of Caduceus was originally a mistake, but years later, it's not. This box of "Tucks" hasn't been made by someone who "didn't do their research" - it's used the branding of their own healthcare.

The image on that box is Caduceus not the Rod of Asclepius as it should be. Any hospital that approved that and think the correct symbol is Caduceus clearly isn't very good at doing very simple research.
Talk about "anal". 🤣
