Then you don't have the dev mode version. Click about tab and see what the version number is. The dev version should say dev_1.52. Are you using the android version? If yes then I have no clue if the 1.52 version is dev or not. The first 2 downloads for android are for 1.4 and the last one is for 1.52 but it doesn't dev in the file name so it might not have the dev mode.

If you have the windows DEV version from the OP then I have no clue why it's not appearing unless you have a older version that you played before that as it might be loading up info from the old version and if it is then you'll have to track down where the files are stored at for the game and delete them. If I extract the game files and put them anywhere and run the game it'll still load my old info so stuff from the game must be stored somewhere.
