I have a password hypothesis...

Do the languages you have your computer set for affect the passwords? This PC is set for only US English and I never have issue. My work computers are set for many languages and I wonder if I would have an issue with those. I have run into other issue because of this in the past, like file directories messing up with foreign characters in them. Again, just a hypothesis.

Am I off base here?

Do not overwrite new versions of Ren'Py games into the folder of old versions. That is almost never a good idea, and is almost unquestionably the source of your problem. Just delete the folder and create a new one. Your saves are stored in the Ren'Py persistent location, they'll come right back.

The downloads work, you're doing something wrong. Give us something more to go on, or we can't help you. And please don't say it's the wrong password...

RenPy games has a tendency to trigger AV's, and Defender isn't known for being the most accurate.
I uploaded a zip of the game without the images to VirusTotal and it came back pretty clean.

Is it really so rare to see a character without makeup. That's what a normal human face looks like without any extra window dressing. Normal skin tone right to the eyeball itself.

Don't really see a problem with Mia there too, she's cute and just a little different Body type as the Kittens. Audrey though I can understand, she feels boring to me. Would have preferred for her to be more reluctant with what happens in the Game, especially as we already have the Sister as the Incest loving Sex freak.

I'm disabled, which means i have a lot of time and not a lot of money. for the past 5+ years i have averaged 2-3 renpy game downloads a day. In that time i have had 3 including this one flag as virus. of those 3 both of the previous ones got confirmed to have viruses. both of those had thousands of downloads before someone said anything. Theres now multiple people with 2 different antiviruses saying this one is infected. Good luck with your BS story about false positives.

If there's one thing I learned recently. download and unzip with password immediately. Last week downloaded a zip that needed a password, but the game was removed a day or two later before I could unzip and I didn't save the pw. (Still not sure what happened to that hummingbird game or whatever t was)

It's called hummingbird by Zelu (That's the creator)... That should be enough to help ya find it if u still haven't been able to.

A BS story with a scan from VirusTotal. That's not a guarantee, but an indication of how concerned you should be.
False positives happen, as AV's can't just look for known threats but also need to look for patterns. Machine Learning does a lot of heavy lifting here, but it isn't fool proof.

For me it's not how many scenes are in an update but how much content is within the scenes and what the quality of the content is. I think there's a reasonable amount of quantity given the time between updates and the quality is great. You should assume that my being succinct doesn't reflect on whether an update is worth playing. I was asked what happens, and since it had just recently dropped I didn't want to get into too many details, even though I listed what I put in SPOILER tags. As @Jorund described, I definitely think the update was nice and worth it. Don't let the quick turnaround or length of the update disappoint you.

Bullshit. I have downloaded at least 10 RenPy games in the last 3 days and this one is the only one that I have had an issue with. The Dev needs to check their own computer to see if their files have been compromised.

It's just a thing with how the forums format stuff. I don't know what exactly is causing it, but the result is a

getting added to the end of some lines. For example, if I copy/paste the whole OP into notepad++, I can see there are two zero-width spaces in it: one after the summary, and one after the last preview picture.

As for why it hasn't been an issue for you; could be a result of how you highlight things to copy and paste them. If you stop stop moving the mouse as soon as the last visible letter gets highlighted (which I typically do), you'll avoid the invisible space. I can't remember if double-clicking to highlight would include the space or not.
