would have been nice if the wife was strict and over protective and everything with the girls was on the sly with chances of getting caught. Just my opinion, taking nothing away from the game because i think it's awesome. I can't help but think that this is the closest to a dumb koala "full" game that there is out there. Please correct me if i'm wrong

It is a kinetic Novel, maybe a porn movie...

Well, very good animations. But nothing to "play" to. No choices at all.

Stop being obtuse, you know damn well context matters. When someone drops a rather large bombshell casually then it's pretty damn obvious it's going to come into play at some point.

Every single time a cult has been brought up in any form of media it always comes into play at some point.

Nobody just escapes a cult without in a story without it popping up again.

As soon as she mentioned a cult it was painfully obvious our MC would have issues with them eventually.

Not for me. Dark and unnecessary twist in the story line. Unfortunate. Departure from the original focus which snagged me. I was waiting with anticipation.

Season 3 Episode 1 and yeah, still angry with you. With it not carrying over your settings/choices from the prior seasons it also shows a clear departure from anything that was going on prior. If you want to make a dark grape game, then make a dark grape game for people that are into that twisted mess. Most of us here aren't into hurtful content. We all were functioning under the thought that the chaos would be what happens with so many girls' affections and the rational portion would be how the MC would find a way to keep them all happy and satisfied.

Those are all games with the renders done in Daz. This game does not use Daz. VaM renders aren't grainy the way undercooked Daz renders are, they just look like this because it's got a ton of real-time stuff going on during animations, and, IIRC, far better animation tools available than those Daz has. So, just like with every rendering engine, it's all a trade-off (and a dev who is used to/familiar with VaM will not necessarily be any good in Daz and vice versa).

Did either of you continue past the opening scene of S3E1? That initial situation is resolved very quickly and in pretty satisfying fashion.

The dev has given us their statements about what the game's going to include, and there is no reason not to trust them about it. The darker plot theme was suggested from the very beginning with the repeated references to the cult, and defeating the cult and freeing the person who remains imprisoned as of the end of S3E1 is almost definitely going to be the primary focus OF all of season 3.

The one scene that shows the apparent aftermath of a rape (of an NPC, for those who haven't played S3E1; she's never been seen before and will likely never be seen again) establishes the antagonists, and isn't shown in a gratuitous manner or in a way that suggests that the dev is suddenly turning this into a "dark grape game" (also, this isn't TikTok, just say the fuckin' word).

Personally I am OK with the renders. Yes, they are different from the usual slightly plasticy DAZ renders, but they are still good.

I'll admit the episodes sorta feel short to me, but also I know how much of a pain in the ass it is just to make a game from the word of other devs, so all good and everything been good so far has all the things I'm into like incest and all the other tags so far.

Though concerning s3e1 I kinda echo the feelings of others in a way, but it's steering to the dreaded ntr tag being added maybe since I have seen some devs say one thing but add it by surprise after the plot seemed like it would never have it I say this because the mc has no idea where the wife is and no one to really help him with the experience like a hacker to look online to track the cult's location and that ceremony with the cult seems to be moving along pretty fast, and once that dennis guy finds out his daughter escaped he might do stuff to the mom in retaliation so guess the mc might end up with sloppy seconds again unless some miracle happens and the wife gets left alone.

What is this sync ID? I get what it is, and what it's supposed to do, but I was never given one at the end of season 2. I went back to season 2, loaded my save at the end to see if I missed something but I didn't. No mention of the sync thing even being an option.

Seems like it would be easier to just port that last save over from the previous game like every other ren'py game out there.
