They are from burned. The lower preview is of the Burned MC's sister wearing a shirt that references Malignant.

a photo is not an update or even an estimate of a update date, its a photo to keep people sending in the cash, the last update = 14 month ago

If you can't be bothered to skim the 2-3 most recent pages to get informed then you are lazy. There are no ifs, ands or buts on that. I mean shit its one page. So YAY info that I have posted in this thread and the Burned thread on ATF previously. This is not the dev's only project. In the time since Burned was last updated the dev's other project Malignant [0.2] [Deaufosse] received its first release and first update. The dev then took a break to play Starfield as they had been to busy working on their projects to play it at launch. Also holidays take time away from development from pretty much every dev. The dev has since gotten back to work on Burned. The dev also has a habit of going down a rabbit hole creating easter eggs that most people miss which slows development time.
As to the comment about the preview pics being to get people to keep sending cash in. The dev doesn't have any active ways to support them. Neither the dev's Fanbox or Patreon are accepting subs which isn't due to them quitting it's TOS breaking content related.

Just the fact that this dev is still hanging around gives me hope that a new update will release someday, hopefully soon.
