About a 1000 games on different platforms. Played maybe a 100 of them.

Steam: ~1400, <25% played for any length of time. Mostly from years of Humble
Same situation for me. Finally canceled it. Seemed great at first, but after years of basically playing nothing of the games, I realized it's kind of a waste really.

hundreds, way to often when there's a sale on gog or steam i end up with a bunch of games i know i won't play.
I have games on steam i bought over 10 years ago and never installed.

Much like the OP, I'm around 600+. But I've played about 150.

I can't pass up a good sale - speaking of which -- BIG SUMMER STEAM SALE STARTS TOMORROW!

Why would you do this to me, i actually forgot about it and now my wallet shall surely suffer.

A lot. All the adult ones and most of the standard.

My account is old enough that I have a grandfathered deal, and I haven't had a problem skipping multiple months in a row when none of the games interested me.

Almost 1400 games on Steam alone, not counting non-Steam porn games.
Many of these were bought through Humble Bundle for convenience, usually I was just interested to one or 2 of them and never touched the others...

(jk there hasnt been a really good sale in ages)

On topic: I am at around 8k games on steam, around half of them are "played" due to card idling and I actively played maybe 500 to 600 of them. Being there since the hayday of these bundles and getting new games for dirt cheap for TF2 keys really did not help...

Mine was quite old as well, had a cheaper price and such. The problem with skipping was that it auto started again, and I didn't have the energy to keep checking and stopping it every month. :p

Steam i have over 500 games and have only played about 40 of the games I also have VR games on steam that i have played for maybe a few minutes to maybe 2 hours and haven't touched them sense on my playstation account i have a little over 100 digitally and only 5 physically and only play a few games... trying to get back into physically collecting again.

I'm sitting just above 700 games in steam, I've played maybe 15-20% of them once but probably only 10% or so for any amount of time. Most of them came from bundles in old spring and summer sales or from humble bundles that ended up being cheaper than buying the individual games I wanted so I've wasted less money than it seems like.

I have the VNs on a separate drive, so all I have to do is double click that and enter the games folder.
However, since that drive is close to full, I have Honey Select 2 (Huge!) on another drive and some more recently downloaded VNs have their folders inside the Downloads folder.
