Well, You get people writing "Dumb shit" because you've lost the damned plot with this game.
This is an AVN not a choose your own fucking adventure. I was at SSP-0.9.0.41R-pc you make us wait months for a new release I download SSP-0.9.0.60R-pc Which is a waste of time with no new content unless I start from scratch and go down your fucking rabbit hole.

Here's a suggestion: One that might actually get your subs.. finish a single story line, then when your done by all means work in your little jerk fantasy subplots!

When Ket mentioned getting negative comments every day, I didn't think it would be that bad. This isn't just criticism, it's straight-up attacking and shouldn't be tolerated anywhere. First off, the game doesn't belong to you, it's the developer's. Sure, they have supporters who pitch in and can share their thoughts, but the game isn't yours! If you don't like something, give your opinion in a respectful way. If the developer doesn't agree with you, either accept it or make your own game. Imagine working in a store and a customer walks in complaining about how ugly your store is and how it should look different. In the end, the store isn't theirs. If they don't like it, they should go to another store and not take out their frustrations on others like an idiot

I disagree of course, This issue has been discussed and resolved. However you make a point about it "not being my game" and make an analogy comparing it to entering someones store.

So when a developer asks for money from the community, to pay his wages, buy equipment, pay his bills. this makes me not a customer it makes me a shareholder. And like it or not if you rely on people to make a living you are by default beholden to their requests. Especially if you want their money.
As a general comment, the amount of simping is quiet frightful.
You aren't adding in anyway to the conversation apart from saying shut up and like it?

You are kind of right about the shareholder's analogy. That's what Patreon and SS is for. But are you a shareholder though? And if, why not use the proper channels that the shareholders get access to?
When ppl act out in forums they just come off as the mad guy, standing outside the shareholder's meeting screaming like an entitled lunatic. :P

I saw your apology, and it was good that you owned up to it. You get a pat on the back for that one. :)
As a fellow ADHD:er I get that outburst happens. Anger management is a thing, though. It actually helped me allot. But to get back to the convo. Like @Chola22 said. The game was not and will never be made for you. In fact, no game is. Also, when ppl rage out like this on one developer (or small team) games. It's even worse. With the amount of love, care and hard work that goes into making a story driven game. (especially in this high quality) It's like you are attacking them personally. This is their love child/pure passion project.
But most of them are open to constructive criticism. As long as it's nice, constructive and respectful. Nobody listens to ppl that attack and scream. And if the game is not for you. Just bow your head and move on. There are plenty of other fish in the vast sea of AVN's. ;)

Also, I bow my hat to these devs who hang their projects out to the public before it's done. I am also a creative, I paint. And imagine if I had 100's of ppl standing at my back and screaming at me while I'm working on a painting. How I used the wrong color. Or that I'm stupid for not drawing a line where they wanted the line to go. I would probably kill my self if that was the case. :P

On another note.
@ketzal Just finished the new Lisa and Rebecca edition. Quality work as usual, my friend. ^^
They were hot AF. ;)
I can't wait to see how the love path with Lisa works out, Since I'm more of a lover than a fighter. :P

Keep up the good work. ^^

See how you can have more pleasant chats? Sometimes we forget that there are real people on the other side and how they feel about what we say. They can get hurt too. So, just be a bit more careful. Being rude just pushes people away and makes them ignore you.

I get what you're saying about money. It makes sense to charge what's fair. But when it's voluntary, and the other person hasn't agreed to anything specific, you don't really have control unless the owner agrees with the people paying. Like, "Hey, supporters, pick who gets the next scene and what kind of scene it'll be." Then you get some say. But if you're thinking, "I'm paying, so he should do this, this, and this," it's not really right. You can point out issues and criticize respectfully, but if things are out of our hands, there's not much you can do.

Hi,

Yes again I hear you. And maybe with my frustration some poor communication skills came to play.
I fully understand this POV. But to explain the frustration. Let's say you watched the first Dune movie.
It ended and you waited for the 2nd installment. You get dressed you go to the cinema, buy your popcorn and get ready for the next chapter (translation: paying a monthly "ticket" fee downloading another 2.5Gb) Only to find out instead of the great war you where promised the movie is about the MC's uncle tom that runs a hardware store.

For those that have played this game to date (no spoilers) Ket left the game at a cliff hanger in the Harem line. A big one at that. Leaving the viewer think wow, the story is starting to really come together! And I was actually excited when the link appeared on SS.

So to clarify. My rant didn't come out of hate or judgement. More so frustration. I actually read these books as I actually enjoy the story more than the naked graphics (I have porn,AI, Magazines for that) So from a literary sense I was blue balled ;)

I understand your frustration, and maybe I shouldn't have reacted the way I did, too. But your message, I don't know why, just made me react.
My game, yes it's my game, is a harem/incest game... etc. But it's funded by people, and while my story will go through as I've written it, I owe it to the people funding my game to give them what they want too. They wanted me to add paths, and so I did.
The harem is updated every three months, with the next version scheduled for March (estimation). 4 Harem versions in one year, so an update every three months. That's my commitment to those who fund my game, and I'll stick to it as long as I can.

So if you like my game, but can't stand the wait between harem versions, I'm really sorry, but I need this time to write, make images and code. Believe me, 3 months is short, very short indeed.

I like the story as it is.... Please don't listen to stupid advices and make any unnecessary changes. Everyone have different taste's, you can't satisfy everyone. Moderate criticism is ok but Extreme criticism will only make people depressed. If someone want story as they like, they can start their own VN, Instead they siphon devs like parasite in name of critics to do their bidding.

I think during any game development, there have to be made sacrifices. Yes, it IS your game and it SHOULD remain that way. Because if you give away too much, you're making it into a game where people control what you do. Which makes many devs lose interest.
Best way is a balancing act. Have full control, however offer people options to lean on that are within your own vision. Alternatively give some priority to characters, content etc.
3 months per update is a very big update cycle, by the way. The fact that you keep up the tempo is commendable. Compared to some games that earn quad the amount you do... yet they don't even bother to update yearly or do anything meaningful.

I hope we see more of Lisa and her little girlfriend...

What a gem!!!! Just finished the entire game today and the game sounds very promising, the flashbacks were confusing me at first but their sex scenes were great aswell, this is one of the few games were both the lolis and the milfs are hot

I'm using a game manager, used the first image as background image. What would be SSP cover/game image?

where is that image from tho
If you're talking about that specific image, it's from an Artist, I forgot his name, who makes these things. I remember seeing it in the hentai manga/comic area if you look for loli and shota tags.

@ketzal You doing well? Hope you're doing good, anyway. How is your game coming along? Keeping your spirit up?
