This will help explain how the Game Uploader rank works, the responsibilities, rewards, and some tips to make your life easier

Spoiler: What is a Game Uploader?

Uploaders are the lifeblood of Lewd Corner, as an uploader you'll be responsible for uploading games, updating threads, and filling game requests.

Spoiler: What are the requirements?

• Active on LC and LC (Creator's Oasis) Uploaders Discord (This is non-negotiable)

- That means you need to use the site and Discord (just text chat, not voice), not every day, but we expect you to be active and regularly communicate with us

• Proficiency with the English language

- If you can talk without using a translator you will probably be fine, just remember to use good English when creating and editing threads, some users use translators, and they need to understand all the info

• Availability (to a certain degree)

- That means we expect you to give us some sort of reply when we ask you to do something, we don't have daily demands or something like that, but if we DM you or ping you, please say something when you're available

• A fast internet connection is a plus, but not required

- Why? We need to make mirrors (copies of the same file but in different hosts) because some users can't use some of the famous hosts, and that demands a good connection speed. However we work as a team, so even if you don't have a good connection, you can rely on us to help you with that part. We have moderators with 1GB UP speed so don't worry about that, we need help with other areas of the "uploading" part. Mirrors aren't always required, sometimes devs provide some good links, and we just need to copy and paste them

• Must be able to work with a team

- Mandatory and not negotiable, we will not ask you to force conversations or something like that, but if you can't work with us we can't work with you, sometimes we will need to inform the others when we are updating a thread, creating a new thread, etc, and patience and empathy with your fellow uploaders is the most important part

• Must be able to follow directions or decisions made by a staff members or staff team

- I'll personally guide you and teach you everything you need or want to know. We already have templates, so you don't even need to ask about what info to put where. But you will need to be open to listening and be corrected when necessary. We're all friends here, but we need to take the job seriously as a lot of devs and members are counting on us to deliver their work

Spoiler: What are the rewards?

You will earn the Prestige 4 rank Perms(full Prestige 4 access) along with other perks that I'd rather talk in private.
We also have a leaderboard System with Weekly and Monthly Rewards (LC Coins and real Life Rewards)
you also get a One-time Reward when you get Promoted to a Higher Rank

A lot of new uploaders or users wanting to be uploaders say the same thing, but to be direct ALL YOUR ACTIONS CAN BE REVERSED BY MODERATORS OR ADMINS, so don't be afraid, if you fuck up I'll help you, and of course, I'll take the blame too because it's my responsibility to teach you how to avoid fucking up

Important Info:

Spoiler: Is there a daily quota or something like that? I can't be here every day

We don't have a daily quota per-say, we're only asking for you to update, at least, four (4) game per week, and Upload/add One (1) New games or games not listed here on LC; that typically takes just 15 minutes (less after some practice) As you become better at Uploading, and Updating and advance up the ladder. More would be expected of course. But once you get more, and more proficient at updating it isn't uncommon to be able to update up to 10-12 existing games an hour ( We have actually seen that )

Spoiler: Do I have the freedom to upload what I want?

You're free to bring your favorite games to LC, if they're not banned games (we don't have many, but we have a list of banned devs that can't be ignored).
We will ask you to keep them updated (when we have access to a new version) and ask you to help us with updating existing games, along with bringing some new ones too.
TLDR: You can upload your favorite games, but we're here to help the community, not just show off our tastes

Spoiler: I'm not sure if my connection speed is good enough

Most of the time we will provide you with the links or where to find them, you don't need to upload the game or create mirrors. Just create/edit the threads (but if you have a good connection that would help a lot)

Spoiler: Do I need to be online on Discord all the time?

No, but we expect you to try to be online on Discord when you have the time to upload, we will always be talking there using text chat (not so much voice chat), and in an emergency we will ping you there, not here.

Spoiler: Do I need to be online at specific times, like a schedule?

We don't have a schedule, you are free to do your uploader's duties when you have free time, respecting the weekly minimum, that's all

Spoiler: So, I'll have to deal with staff's drama?

No, you will be joining LC's public discord, you will have access to the uploader's channel. Moderators, Admins and Developers have their own Discord server

Spoiler: Content Uploader positions

As you get more experience and show some effort you will be rewarded with new badges (of course more site permissions and perks)

• Trial Uploader (Those in training)

Uploaders in training. They will ask some questions, and we're obligated to answer them, help get them started. Requires at least 10 game threads within a month before promoting to full Uploaders.

• Uploader (Those who know what to do)

Uploader that passed the requirement and no longer need any major help as they did when in Trial mode. Doesn't mean you can't ask questions, it's always welcome and we're always here to answer.

• Sr Uploader (Available after 50 threads and 100 updates)

After doing 50 threads and 100 updates, you get closer to Lead Uploader. You're also at the point of being some of top dogs of the Uploading team. It shows your dedication as well.

• Lead Uploader (Available after 200 threads and 200 updates)

Top of the team. That means you'll help the Uploader Manager with whatever he/she need when dealing with regular uploaders. That also means those who reach Lead Uploader gets first crack on becoming a Trial Moderator when we need more.

How to create a game thread and some tips to make your work easier

Spoiler: Creating your first game thread

You can do this without being an official uploader

NOTE FOR UPLOADERS: CHECK DISCORD FOR THE BANNED DEVS LIST BEFORE POSTING THE GAME IF YOU CAN'T REMEMBER ALL THEIR NAMES

First, you will create the thread HERE (you don't have permission to create it inside the games area yet)
Unfortunately, we haven't added the game template inside the requests area yet, but you should see a page like

The fastest way is to click on "Select all", then deselect your Main image (which should be the one on the far left) and click on "Thumbnail".
If you need your previews to be within a "Spoiler" box, add the top and bottom "SPOILER" lines as in this screenshot.

To resize the images, click on the image and then "Change size"

You must be registered to see attachments

The banner should have a 600px height and "auto" width

That should be marked as "yes", some devs will mark it as "no" when they like to update the game themselves (if you don't have that box, just ignore it for now)

Tags should be added here, separated by commas (you can find them in the "genre" section)
If you're trying to add a tag that we don't have the site will not let you, but feel free to suggest a tag if you think we should have it

Spoiler: Promoting

Once you check the "Promote to article" you will be redirected
With our new Latest Updates page you just need to check this box whenever you want to promote a game, just be careful because this cannot be undone
