In AVNS i normally do 2 runs, 1 where i hook up with everyone just to get all the content and on the other i stay loyal from start to finish, in games in general i like to stay loyal all the way with the girl i choose

I like neither. Basically, I don't want the MC to enter monogamous relationships. Most games with a harem option offer enough ambiguity that it is consistent to assume that no assumption of exclusivity is in place. The fact that you had to explicitly cheat on your sisters to get the harem ending is my main gripe with "Sisterly Lust" for example.

Harem is number 1 by a margin, but honestly given how so few people willingly cheat in real life I was surprised that more didn't cheat in games, since it's an escape from reality, in real life I'm not a cheater, but in video games, oh you can bet your ass I'm going to cheat UNLESS the girl who the cheating option is with is such a colossal bitch that it makes me want to do evil things, and in those cases, I usually avoid that person and in games where that isn't an option I uninstall and tell that game to go to places where the sun can shine up its ass

I play a game to see everything on offer, which usually means full harem when the option is there. If I have a favorite sure I'll pick her whenever possible but it really depends on the game itself whether that's worth bothering to focus on doing
