Had to read this multiple time to figure out what Ri was, took a while to realize it was Real Life. GLHFthe game is not dead, but Rl is stressing me out, so I am working on the game but it is slow going. I am so sorry I dont have a date yet

Well, you've already made a good chunk of a lovely VN, so no big "L" should stick to ya anyway. It's only natural.ya I must have taken my finger of the shift button a little too erly and got a small "l" insted of a big "L"
Check the comment right above your'sDid the developer quit?
Well, yes, I saw that comment. But the developer either deleted or got their account deleted in the time between writing that comment and now. Also his fanbox account disappeared and I am unable to find his discord. So from the information I could gather it seems to me like - due to recent events - the developer decided to stop the game and distance himself from that part of his life. But that is speculation on my part, it would be sad if it is true and I was wondering if anyone has more information.Check the comment right above your's
Looking at the original post makes me think it's abandonedAny news?
It's been abandoned for 4 months now. Basically another casualty of the Westy drama. Once that happens it's very rare for someone else to grab it and revive it, so I don't see that happening either, sadly.Any news?
Sadly as nice as that sounds that hardly ever happens. Even for those that know what they are doing it's usually easier to start from scratch than try to figure out the assets used (which are sometimes custom made by the former devs themselves, you can't just go to the Daz store and buy those) and pick up the story where it left off. Getting the duf files would be great but when devs just ghost everyone that's unlikely.I' don't know if the dev would return to continue this or if anyone is working on a remake of this but it would be good if there would be ppl who know how to properly make games like this (i mean with being good in coding and 3D rendering and making animations etc.) and would be willing to make a remake of this game (and other good/great/awesome games that were abandoned), and continue from where the dev left off cuz i think it still has potential things to be added to it and maybe also some routes to explore.
And beyond this, there's the creative aspect. A lot of people who have the skill and resources to do something like that would generally rather tell their own stories than remake or continue someone else's story, since it would make it harder for the new dev/artist to ever think of the remake/continuation as "theirs".Sadly as nice as that sounds that hardly ever happens.
