What makes a sandbox vn a real sandbox vn in your opinion ?

For me sandbox and vns don't mix. Because now it's neither. Go on your preferred online game playing site, steam or whatever.
Go play a sandbox game,,, it's nothing like this crap.
Go play a VN (Visual Novel) ,,, Also nothing like this crap.

Devs that make sandbox shit can't write, that is why they make that crap.
They have a story plot/idea of 10 minutes of game play and stretch that out into HOURS.
That does not make it into a sandbox vn game, that makes them into horrible sadistic people.

Writing a story that makes sense and has a flow in it is not easy to do. Hence we have so many shit games.
Writing/telling a story and not going off-topic, Isn't 10 minutes long and doesn't get boring or long winded is HARD.

Just because you can code, does not make you a writer or a "game" developer.

The models and story don't outweigh the pointless grind.
Spending hours repeating doing the same thing over and over again pissing your life away behind a screen for a reward is called work.. You can get payed for that. You get to do fun stuff with that pay.
I can not imagine people do not have something better to do for hours then the crap they make..
So for me these so called devs should be burned alive for making something so retarded.
