It does have some links to pages that you can download from but its mostly stores for purchasing. I just go there and sort by ratings and new to find stuff I like then go to sites like this to get the games.

I like good writing the most that is what usually takes me out of a vn. Also many dialogue choices that feels impactful. Not sure if that helps.
