A new law? I would remove everything that dont makes any sense. If people want to harm themselves with drugs they can do it, if people want to marry multiple partners of whatever gender, let them, if kids want to make fast cash by posting nudes, dont hunt their parents down for it, if devs make loli content without any real children involved let them, if people download sick shit to get off without harming anyone let them.
To make it short, if you dont harm anyone aside from yourself you dont break any laws. Everything else is just tyranny.

You laugh, but honestly I have been losing faith in humanity lately with how many instances of killing people are deemed acceptable. Like if they are a criminal? Death penalty. Why should anybody get to inherit billions of dollars they didn't even make? There is nothing more worthless than a trust fund baby that does nothing but consume at the obscene level of the mega-rich.

Inheriting one BILLION (milliard for Europeans; $1,000,000,000) dollars is already plenty to ensure a lifetime of worthlessness.

It really isn't... no one needs over a billion, I would be all for capping it at some point and all the money above going to the public, would need better systems in place to make sure it really benefits the public tho and not polticians

Inheriting often is more about assets than actual money. You take ownership of a business which quickly becomes very big numbers. Even simple farmers are often passing down millions of dollars with inheritance because of how much land they pass to their kids even though their income isn't usually that much. What motivation is there to build the next Apple or Starbucks if I know that people are just going to steal it from my future kids?

I put 2 dozen chocolate chip cookies in my house they'll be gone by sundown.
Now, if you're willing to amend this to "All households must ensure that a weekly minimum of 2 dozen fresh chocolate chip cookies be maintained." i'll cosign that bill.
