C1AA over at ATF has a fix that helped me:

Heres a work-around for those having issues with the patch:
Install the "Universal Ren'Py Mod / URM [2.1.1]" (just add it to the "game" folder)
Can be found by searching on F95
while in-game, open the mod window and using the search tab, search for the variable "smols". Click the result and change it from false to true, click change.
That fixes it.

Isn't this missing a tag? On Fuck95 pretty sure it has "kinetic novel" tag and if correct needs it here. Lots of people don't like kinetic novels and are only interested in actual games.

At a fresh start you are asked to choose if you want the kinetic novel or game mode. Do not choose the kinetic novel option - I couldn't get the patch to work with that mode.

By tonight I will upload the whole game including the patch.

Please note that there are other issues as well. In my case the check boxes that are supposed to appear on the right of enable smol content and enable pregnancy are missing. I even changed the age in case that was the trigger for the smol content, but it is still borked.
There is a patch.rpa already sitting in the game folder that interferes with the patch that we have to download and extract. This patch.rpa has to be deleted before the downloaded patch will work, otherwise you get errors that some variables are declared twice.

After putting the 0x52_URM.rpa file in the game folder, you will get a popup when you launch the game telling you that Alt+m will bring up the URM mod screen.

At least for me this game crashes if I start a new game or load a saved file with it.

The crash log tells you why it crashed. The patch you downloaded contains images and patch.rpy and patch.rpyc. Now you copy the contents of the downloaded patch into the game folder like you're supposed to. But the game folder already had a patch.rpa which clashes with the new patch.rpy and patch.rpyc. I fixed it by deleting patch.rpa and then it worked, but I'm not an expert and there are other bugs. I had to then use the URM to enable smols.

Does that fix the KN part with the flashback scene?
