discussion Game Recommendations & Identification

I kinda feel like Ai games, atleast obvious ones are missing spark. so im on the same page, cant really find a Ai game worth it.
If there is something to change that im curious

What's the upside of AI games versus regular games?

[currydurry]

it might help with the creative imaging sides of the games but i think that also takes away from the stories that creators comes up with ? agree / disagreed ?

Final Fantasy and Mass Effect are my favorite. Strictly speaking, game series. If I have to commit myself to individual parts, then FF8 and ME2

I can see it definitely being used to help writing stories, kind of like an outline to edit, that'd make the process much faster. But I still think using AI photos in games will look bad atleast with how they look rn

My basic bitch answer is four elements trainer, and the new titans game by the same people is great too.

The rick and morty one was really funny before it got dropped

I'm vaguely shocked nobody has put similar effort into a one piece game yet. The rubber dick is right there. Maybe one piece watchers are too pure of heart.

I'm not a dev (just a normie with no real knowledge besides clicking spacebar and choosing options in these games), but I'm guessing that there is way less workload in terms of getting pictures in? Again, I'm clueless, but I'd say creating images is simpler as it involves putting prompts and refining the output until it meets expectations. Generally, the AI images look impressive in terms of quality, and with the right prompts, the outcomes are quite satisfying. Only issue is that (from what I have seen) no one seems to care about the story part.

Idk, the image creating is much faster and refined but the thing is with AI photos right now is that they're very obviously AI generated. And from my perspective when I look at the photos and see 3 nipples or 8 fingers it can be kind of offputting. But that may change with time as AI generated photos are very new.

So long as they clean up the AI hands for the art...

ACADEMY 34, Rogue Evolution, Attack On Survey Corps, Project Possible, and Lewdest House are the ones I keep checking for. Favourite would be A34 though.

Forgot to add FET, definitely No.2

FET is probably my absolute favourite parody game, it honestly feels like a cut above the rest.

Mass Effect is probably my favorite RPG of all time. Best game trilogy hands down.

That's definitely an issue. But that's also what I'm wondering: why does it feel like no dev cares about it. The ones that do make AI games (that I've played) seem to only release garbage, low interest, low quality stuff. And I remember being worried that these forums would be flooded with AI games once it became so easy to access and make use of.

I remember there being 4 girls, I think incest.. There was a milf, two "older" sisters and a younger one. I think the premise was that your dick got cut in an accident, you escape hospital and someone takes you in (the milf)?
You help a girl by taking pics of her and she uploads or streams? In reward she plays with your cut dick..

well damn, thats a lot to take in haha id have to do some research myself!

Anyone know any good nsfw games with a male or futa protag with female taur or feral characters?

I think that shows the difference between devs thar care about the games they make and devs that don't. I'm sure there's a lot of developers that produce high quality games with the partial use of AI, but we just cant tell. I think it's just the games that are fully made from AI that are and probably will always look lazy.

TBH, newgrounds probably got hit with the AI generated games the hardest

[lillo]

Mmm I think there are in Maou-Sama and How I Became a Hero

Story is chatGPT and images are stable diffusion... so yeah no "real" human input isnt really creating something awesome in this genre.
I assume a dev who actually have a good story in mind and is using the tools available to help get the story across might certainly would help alot.
Its like everybody notice bad CG in movies but there is so much more they don't see when its done correct

[Monokuma]

Was interested in hearing some answers to this... But apparently no recommendations!
(So, take this comment, in a way to bump the thread!)

I definitely get the "looks lazy" part, but I also think that people only think that because there seems to be no one that actually cares to make a good AI game. With the right devs, the proper story writing and donations, surely someone will be motivated to make use of it. But there seems to be a massive lack of motivation.

I'm also interested in the partial use of AI in games. Have people done this? Upscale or use AI to generate higher quality images, without making it too obvious?

Sisterly Lust is the closest thing I can think of to that. Not including the cut dick part.
