I got one of them big "collection" jawns from the scholastic book fair as a kid, Goosebumps was sweet. The Cirque Du Freak series was also a banger, along with a couple others that I'm not remembering.

Pretty much every day throughout 4th grade I'd be reading a Goosebumps book (or an Animorphs book, if you remember those!). The ones I remember the most are Say Cheese and Die, the one with the Creeps trying to take over, and the one where they go to a black and white world in their school where there's no more color.

There also were some Goosebumps choose your own adventure books, and the one at the wax museum really scared me, especially the skin scraper device where they scrape the skin off of you to turn you into a wax figure.

read them and seen the series ( also a must see imo)

The TV show came just when I was old enough to read, so just watched it instead

I think I've read a couple back when I was in middle school. Didn't grip me particularly

Goosebumps? No. FFS, how young are some of the members here?

Goosebumps is actually pretty old lol, the TV show was airing in the 90's if I remember right. Someone watching them at 10-12 would be around the 40's now.

Read some of them as a child aka elementary school. Were fitting at the time, kinda like Harry Potter (which is series for children...).

Read some of them when I was younger and have to give the author credit, his PG horror can be down right more scarier then a R rated horror film.

To bad the movies were both hit or miss in the theaters though.

"Say Cheese and Die" -> was that the one with the camera that showed people dying?

I read a couple as a kid but I don't remember any of them. I watched the show a few times too!

Wow this takes me back... Read a few. Used to love them... My favorites were Calling All Creeps, The Ghost Next Door and the mummy one (forgot the title, the one where
he got bitten by the scarab in the end
). Can't say I like them now, though.
