No, it hasn't. The only missing Lauren scene is her original defloration, which used to be in the replay gallery as a deleted scene. Everything else is still in the game.

Then it has been reintroduced in the most resent update, cauz it's not in the 0.85 version.

They were in that, too. You were likely running into an issue with the variables getting changed. 0.8.5 changed variables to things like "persistent.lpath" and they were probably defaulting to False for you. 0.8.6 changed them back to regular variables ("lpath", etc.) and also added a Paths button to the quick menu where you can just toggle the character paths on/off as you like.

Ugh. I like this game a lot, but I'm tired of seeing it getting a "new" update and yet again it's just another fix or something else that doesn't add anything to the game.

At this rate it'll be 2025 before we get anything new story-wise.

These are both Katie only events.
The 1st one is instead of checking on Lauren/Megan and interacting with them on the night of Day 3, you instead leave and check on Katie and interact with her instead.
The 2nd one you cannot be on Lauren's path in the morning of the 5th day as her event will trigger, otherwise there is an event with Katie when waking up.
