For now, mime and apollo have full control over LC and will be handling site decisions going forward. I’m stepping back from making site changes for now and letting them decide how to move LC forward. - Jack Of Blades

Updated due to the game being leak elsewhere.
Also left the usage of how to refer to the player when interacting with "school centric characters" as is. Since that is literally the users choice they picked while speaking to the principle.
One quick note, since that reminds me that I saw the same mistake throughout the game: the correct word to use when referring to a school's head administrator is "principal", not "principle".

Looking forward to Day 2!

Dev, will the choices count per update go up as you get more comfortable?

Ideally you'd want a principal with principles. And if there's also a vice principal with principles, that would make the head administrator the principal principled principal.

Neither of those words look real anymore.

I hadn't gotten around to playing this game yet. Seems there may be no point in doing so. :censored:
People really need to stop freaking out a bit. I can understand why this feels scary. Hell in my country it's ok and I am not even a dev and I was shocked with what happened. But people are blowing their loads way to fast instead of waiting and calmly trying to find out a solution.

well in this case you can read the guy was gonna change it anyway a lot of people are using this as an excuse to change their product but keeping the fans is a bullshit tactic and a lot of people gonna eat it up because of what happened but the reality is is pure bullshit they just needed an excuse.

I think people are just scared, and when people are scared they don't make the smartest decisions. I their minds right now it's better to overreact than take the risk.

If that is the case, I will pass on this too. I have no *need* for the little ones, but I also believe, "ain't no half stepping." You either decide to go that route, as a dev, or you do not. Changing a "plan" midstream just shows me that they really had no outline or real plan and, like so many others playing-part-time-dev. What's next, get bored or lose steam and put it on hold indefinately?

Good luck to this dev and their decisions. I will check back someday to see how it all played out.

This dev was doing the taboo patch thing anyway I feel like he kept doing it that way he would be fine. Even if he is intending on monetizing the game. Just keep your official pages clean without any mention of the patch and you will be ok in my opinion.

Yeah the amount of games that have that kind of content behind a patch and carry on without any issues is very high. There's probably hundreds of developers that do exactly that. I agree with the above comment from Badjourasmix.

Has anybody ever heard of more than just the one project getting developed in Australia?

I do however completely call bullshit on the dev's assertion that he had already planned to age up the characters. If his vision of the game was with older girls, why go through the trouble of making content with younger girls? He had to know aging them up would piss off 90% of the fans of the initial version, at least before this Westy bullshit went down. Now he might be able to get away with pissing off 80% of the fanbase instead. Still a completely nonsensical move, and probably just a virtue-signaling lie in the first place.

I don't know if he was really planning on making them older or not. But at the end of the day people will prioritize their own safety and to be honest it would be selfish on our part to expect people to put themselves in risky situations just for a fap game. I understand that some people might lose interest in the game but the potential risk is just not worth it.

True and fair point... But nothing has actually changed. The laws being used have been there.

Now, if a major jurisdiction, like the USA, changed their laws and started going after Devs, I could understand panic-mode.

This is just a country enforcing their law (albeit stupid). The risk has not changed for anyone outside of Aus.

Yeah I think that if you're outside of australia you're most likely fine. The story isn't really big enough to make other countries act. But it's a good oportunity for devs to make some changes to their games and make things safer for them. You can't have a game where it says all characters are 18 but then everything else in game point in the opposite direction.

Even IF it was, as long as you live in a country where law actually means something, there is no problem, laws don't apply retroactivly. So even IF countries would suddenly think that its bad and change their laws, you just would have to stop doing it and deleting stuff on the day before the law actually goes into effect... there is no "safer", if you dont break the law you are good, even if you call your characters 6 year olds and make them tiny... thats all there is to it *shrug*

Why doesn't this game appear in the restricted game section when it says it's restricted? I just checked there again and this game isn't there.
