I didn't do a full check over all the images to see if there were any changes / updates but they are identical in number and total size between the two versions.

Script wise there was an update.
With the 8.5r if you take a LI path and chose to leave it later on you would be locked out their path even upon reload of a the save before the choice, the only way to correct it then was to go back to the initial path choice to re-enable it.
With the 8.6r you can just enable/disable with the button they added on the bottom menu, so if you do go off the path to get a replay you can just reload before the choice and not have to replay the whole thing.
