How/where to find Naoko? And how does Valentine Day work? I set a girlfriend, spent a LOT of time with her, got a boatload of XP, still no Valeria. Do I have to set my computer clock to trick the game into thinking it's February or something?

Yeah, I saw all that. All it says for Naoko is v0.9.99S. Is she supposed to be an automatic free girl like Lisa is? No mention of what triggers her to spawn. I have a more recent S version and there's no sign of her. Do I specifically have to have 9.99S? If so, the link on substar is dead.

Changelog on substar says Valentine's event is permanently active in the background on current versions, but I've got like, 9K xp with girlfriend and haven't received any items or the girl. No floating xp text that says anything about Valentine's either.

collect all the hearts that should be enough for Naoko and no you dont have to have specifically that one, S versions are only for past events, but she shown in that version forward.
yeah if you are using 9.96S, 99S came after 96 and 97. you will get her in 11.5, or any more recent versions you got, all you need are hearts

Ah, I see. I'm on 14S, but I haven't gotten all of the hearts yet. Still have a couple that I haven't gotten to. Thanks for clearing that up.

So what of the Valentine's situation? As far as I can tell from changelogs, I should be getting Valentine XP but nothing's happening.

yeah cant help you much with valentine, i got girl from old version, last that was still accessible was at 9.6S i (think) and there were too many changes that can mess up saves in between if you would try to load newer saves that far behind. also you would have to collect all again what was in between and have double hearts which i found bit annoying.
there is chance that only proximity love exp counts, so keep whom ever you declared gf on you at all the time till you reach 500 exp (that was in past) that way, but since you are sub with latest S you can ask dev or ppl on discord if they got any better clue since the change.

I had sex with her for over 1k xp. And I assume if it's working floating "+X Valentine's XP!" will show up on the side of the screen, which it doeesn't. I'll backup my save and try to load it in an older version. Maybe I'll get lucky and it won't break, lol.

well my suggestion is to talk with dev or ppl from discord about it 1st, if anyone has redoo the game since event is automatic, there has been lost of things in between to to do, which you will have to again
otherwise i dont think that in past sex counted toward it, tho am not sure, it was that hourly few exp you gain, when you see hearts flow from girl, not sure if anything else counted, its been a while. thing could also simply be broken.

However, I just looked at my customization gear and noticed two "heart" items in the hair menu. So apparently I AM getting credit for it. Perhaps I actually HAVEN'T gotten as much XP as I thought yet. Do you recall where she spawns when you unlock her?

well if you got 2 heartclips already, then you shouldnt be far from girl, based on old exp

tho who knows what changes were made
also valentine goes back before 1st demo uploaded here, before big old island i think so she have to spawn or whether on main or nearby small islands , been too long

By the way, there seem to be a LOT more unstable stones than your guide lists. I think I've found at least 10 more so far.

Makes me wonder if there's something special for breaking ALL the stones. Maybe not another girl, but perhaps a special piece of clothing or a recipe for something awesome or some shit.

Well, I just finished getting everything. Hearts, dirt, pages, unstable stones... still no sign of Naoko.
