discussion POV, Third Person or Mix of both

Do you prefer playing in POV where you don't see the MC (f.e. Single Again, Away From Home...), in Third Person (f.e. Making Memories) or a Mix of both?

For me it is definitely POV, Third Person brakes the immersion. And often the MC looks just plain.

Making Memories f.e. is a great game with nice models, good writing and story but with the third person perspective I always felt like just a bystander. The facial expressions of the Mc did not help either.

I like to see a mix of both, but I prefer the "cumshot" to be pov. Its just a preference I have to pretending I'm the MC

POV can sometime look very awkward, especially on kissing scenes. The close ups and sometimes fish-lens like effects can be very strange looking.
Besides that with Third Person you can have better looking scenes.

Hmm, I can see that. For me the look of scenes depend mostly on the skill of the dev. I have seen many Third Person scenes that looked plain and uninterresting. But If you know how to set scenes, camera position, lightning you can get a cinematic feel with Third Person scenes. On the other hand, it get's more personal in POV so I will always prefer that.

I agree, while POV is nice it simply doesn't fit every scene and will even make some look incredibly awkward

What game is that?
Generally I like a mix of both. Only POV can be weird sometimes (WVM is a perfect example for that).
