There's a shit storm on F95 as well. The root of the confusion is alot of people took "April content is in the GE version only" as ALL loli content released in the month of April is now behind a paywall. What was meant by April content was not all content relased in the month of April, but just the loli scene of a character named April. That's the only difference. And she's not even a new regular character, but just a one-night-stand that will never make another appearance. Sure, she's the youngest fuck the MC has done yet for those into that, but not much else as it's like DLC for a game (extra content but not needed for the story). Worth $20? Dunno, my sub is $1 that I sometimes bump up to get earlier access when I don't have patience that day like most of my subs then drop it back down after downloading but haven't done that yet. I'm curious but not $20 curious, but it's not that big a deal to me as every dev has extra stuff for higher tiers, otherwise there's no incentive to pay extra. Other than the name-induced confusion pretty sure people would have bitched less if this was released as a seperate stand-alone tier-tied mini-AVN in the same vein that Ketzal releases his non-canon 4K's only to $15 tier and up (or custom ones for $100), yet few people bitch about that.

Adding onto this, Gallery Edition has a gallery, obviously, but will also be the version that has content with the girls from the orphanage (just April, for now). Which means the orphanage girls are locked behind a $20 paywall which is what all the recent drama has been about. This is, as far as I know based on the Dev's most recent comments, the accurate state of things.

Well, to inform you, RIC0H's itch page got nuked. Someone reported it. So from now on only SS is available for both, the SE and the GE version. Everything points into the direction, that the reporting person got so upset about the paywalled content and RIC0H's behaviour, that they took revenge that way.

What I did find unfair from RIC0H, is that he compared himself with KETZAL and Westy doing the same. I mean, fuck the gallery, there are modders out there, that could make a gallery mod. But enough of that. He took his hat and will get enough backlash on Cuck95, especially for the way he handles the situation.

Joking is one thing, trolling, well, is a completely different. I'm fine with joking. But trolling and never trying to ease people's concern and then trolling even more was definitely the wrong way to handle the situation. Instead of defusing the situation, he fueled it more by mainly blaming the fans and supporters. And I think, that was his main mistake on Cuck95 and here. Well, we will see how it will go on from here.

Honestly, given the way he's handled everything, this seems more like an intentional misdirect to me. People were, and are, upset that the orphanage girls were/are going to be locked behind a paywall. The fact that it's only one girl, (heavy emphasis on this) so far, is immaterial. But it has given him and his fan-club a way to paint the whole thing as "people getting upset over one girl".

This. If it's part of the game, it's PART OF THE FUCKING GAME and should not be denied to anyone who plays the game. If it is separate content than who gives a fuck, ketzal and Westy make 4k renders for their high-end subs and more power to them. RIC0H just stepped into a shitstorm of his own making he could have avoided with a little more forethought. Now he has burned a bunch of players (potential subs, at least some) with his attitude and the hamfisted way he has handled this whole fiasco. Hope he and other devs learn something from all this shit.

The thing is even the SE version feels like the full game to me. After playing it the April scene was hot for those into lolis, but felt awkward, like it was just shoved in between the SE scenes (with gold choice options that I assume wouldn't be there in the SE version) after that was finished (which it probably was) and it definitely doesn't NEED to be there. Really though this is far from the first multiple-version AVN. University Of Problems and AOA academy (back when I still had time to read vanilla AVNs) are 2 off the top of my head that had extra content not available in the free version (and never intended to be released in the gold/extended/premium versions for free, it just happened to be leaked). And the extra content was much like the April scene here; nice to look at but usually contributed almost nothing extra to the story. I still don't get why there's so much hate for this guy but those devs had relatively few such complaints. It's like buying early access to a base game on Steam and then complaining and leaving a negative review when DLC is added that is not free. Most such DLC is not necessary to buy to finish the game or even affect the story anyway. Unlike when Stephen King had the idea to only sell his books as an e-book 1 chapter at a time back in 2000 and never free (idea canceled, publishers offered way too many millions for the old school whole-book-at-once, 1 up front payment + royalties).

Renders and wallpapers are different, they are not story content
