We understand that some people disagree with the way shit was done, but can we not openly slander and insult people over it? It's not a good look when we get new members, they'll see the community attacking devs for their decisions.

Edit: Don't bother face palming this post, you're all acting like children insulting a developer for their choices over a game they created. I understand you wanting to voice concerns, but once you start delving into insults just because they got offended, you're now bullying them.

Then don't stay subscribed to someone if they don't deliver the content, right now, you're bullying him for choices he's made.

You can only get "scammed" if you let them do it.

I've never been subscribed to him and his behavior recently makes the chances i'll ever subscribe to him plummet

Whether the dev is here or not, do not bad mouth him or his bad decisions (outside the game story, etc). I have removed a couple of the messages. When it is decided when we are going to allow updates on released content after xx days, the OP will be updated.

Ok guys its time to stop. I don't like what ricoh has pulled either but he isn't the first and wont be the last to pull this stuff. I have said my piece earlier in the thread and walked away. You all have drawn me back in to try and stop you all from the insults that will fall on deaf ears as he is deleting his account anyway. We all for the most part are here to get games for free and as such unless your paying and getting screwed there is nothin to actually complain bout that will make a difference.

It's messed up but nothing we can do, especially since he essentially took his toys and went home. Will likely cost him in the long run. Hopefully someone who has the full version posts future updates. He's getting people with torches and pitchforks on F95, too even though it's against rule 7 the full version (but they aren't consistent with what they allow there.)

You're right, they were originally. But later on is when the insults happened. I get being pissed over a decision, I get like that myself. But the insults that ensued afterwards wont help anyone. That's what I was saying.

They are just paranoid about getting shut down by the gov't (a patch on a separate site is legal ass covering), even though the US law banning loli cartoons was overturned by the Supreme Court over 20 years ago (Ashcroft v Free Speech Coalition). I suppose they could try to call it obscenity under the new 2003 law that replaced it, but good luck proving that (it's art, like almost anything these days, so that covers the artistic merit part of the outdated Miller Test). Basically they are just too lazy to go to court in the very unlikely event that happens so simply ban it themselves rather than hire a lawyer (even though they can prob afford to, especially with pro bono work many lawyers would happily do for a free speech case, and the free speech coalition would defintiely jump in again as well). It was last prosecuted that way in 2008 over some dude's imported manga comic book collection, and settled via plea bargain (I would have took my chances myself just to have the opportunity of overturning that stupid law as well but whatever). These days rather than a few comic book collectors there's 10's of millions of AVN and render collectors to deal with that don't give a fuck (enjoy trying to jail them all on obscenity charges and clogging the courts/jails for the next 500 years only for them all to be thrown out due to protected speech rulings), so it's just ignored for the most part in the same way you most likely won't get arrested anymore for decrypting and copying a BluRay and even making a torrent of it since just about everyone with a VPN does so, even though that silly FBI warning is still on every disc and laughably sometimes still included before the beginning of a video stream of it on tube sites.Their loss, this site's gain.
