Complete KN Ren'Py DAZ The Island - [1.0] [Anonymous]

The thing is, I don't care about why they are there, and I want real girls and not elves, fairies, etc. This may not be for everyone, but I really like not having to wade through all the stuff about how they all come to be there. I'm just happy that they are.

That wasn't a suggestion, I was just pointing out that if it was implemented it wouldn't put a dent in the 'realism' of the game, since it basically doesn't exist.

If you don't care for that I'm not sure why you're interested in a VN site. Might as well introduce yourself to booru/sankaku if you're only here for images and models.

One of my favorite VNs is Eternum, so there ya go. But tell me about "booru/sankaku". Never heard of it.

Thank you for that! I'm not really interested because it's not animated, and it's in Japanese, and it's censored. Not the same thing at all compared to "The Island". I'm simply not very interested in the former and I am in the latter.

Of course, I did save the location for future reference!

??? Ignorance is bliss I guess.
Plenty of animations and uncensored. English content as well.

Just have to know how to search. Pretty sure most of the site is filtered if you don't have an account.

Yes, I believe I can confirm that, and you need to subscribe for a month (spend $10) to find out if you like the content. Thank you! That helps a lot. I might still do it but not in a hurry.

You can make free account too. No need to pay

sorry, but v0.4 doesn't really start for me, just opens quickly and then closes itself without any errormessage. Also the log doesn't show any info about crash.

oh sorry to hear, what kind of system do you have? The latest drivers on it?

Well I have a 64 bit Windows system with an 11th Gen Intel Core i7-11700K @ 3.60GHz and an RTX 3080 ti and 32 gig ram. My drivers are all pretty up to date.

I can think of another thing that your monitor can't do 4K. Everything in the game is rendered in 4k. But with your computer that will probably not be that you do not have a 4K monitor.

Oh, yeah. That could be. In deed, I don't have a 4K monitor at the moment. So is there no way to play the game or is there a way to get around this hurdle?

In Ren'Py, you can change the output resolution in the options.rpy file. To do this, open the options.rpy file in your project folder and look for the line that contains the screen resolution settings. This line is usually:

config.screen_width = 1920
config.screen_height = 1080

This is the default resolution of 1920x1080. Just change the values to the desired resolution, e.g. 1280x720, and save the file.

However, if you change the resolution before you start the game, these changes will only take effect the next time you start the game. If you want to change the resolution while the game is running, you can press the "Alt + Enter" key combination to switch the game to windowed mode. Then you can resize the window by dragging its corners with the mouse. When you maximize the window again, it will be output in the native resolution.

& In the Game Directory should be the "log.txt", created after the first start of the game. Maybe this could give us a hint too. You can dm it to me ore Lirius. And if it's possible for you to enter the game long enough. you should try "Shif+G" and select "force GL2 Renderer" or "force Angle2 Renderer" <- this also only works after restarting the game.

Thanks for your effort to help, unfortunatly there is no line with config.screen in the options.rpy. I already looked at the log, but for sure you are more competent to read it, I will dm it to you.

ok ... this is strange .... I tried to insert the lines in the options.rpy, which failed. To create a new log for you, I deleted the folder and extracted it again (which I did previously also ^^ ) started the game and now it runs 1. try ... nice. I#m not sure what happened here. Sorry to bother you and thanks for the effort to help me. would you like to get my log anyway?
