Abandoned Ren'Py DAZ Daddy's Hard Time [0.03.2] [Anonymous Developer]

What i always say, take the scene and change the woman/girl to a man/boy, is the scene still ok? If it isn't and you accept the original scene even after not being ok with the change to a male character, it can only mean you are a female cuck.
I have known you for a while from the other forum and such. Do not start this crap here. You stated your opinion he stated his. Do not start pulling this cuck naming crap here. I try to be fair to everyone so stop before this behavior gets you a warning. This is a 18 plus forum so I expect people to act like the adults they are supposed to be.

Not a bad AVN indeed. Only criticism I have is that the general lighting is to dark and the text needs a colour change, maybe a plain white as the grey is very woeful.

Just went through the latest update and agree with the lighting. I had to boost my brightness to see the Beth scene in the bedroom when Charlotte is sleeping next to them

Can you give an example of a scene that was too dark to see (in a spoiler so not to actually spoil anything)? I help another dev and we have a scene about to be released in a theater. We released a teaser on discord and a few members said they couldnt see anything. The dev went ahead and re-rendered the whole scene with much more light, but I am still wondering what levels of dark most people cant see. Because I could see the scene just fine. Makes me assume its monitor settings or something else but I dont have a lot of info to work from.

I'm assuming they mean the last scene of the update, but it looks fine to me.

It sounds like it might be a problem on the user end with RGB dynamic range being mismatched between the graphics settings and the monitor settings. If it's too dark, then that would mean the RGB range in nvidia/radeon/window/etc display settings is set to Full (0-255), but the monitor is set to Limited (16-235). If it was the opposite way around, then everything would be too bright/washed out.

To fix it you'll need to search through your monitor settings for something that mentions RGB range (for example mine is "HDMI RGB PC Range" under the "Picture Advanced" tab of my on-screen display menu) and change it to Full/0-255.

Or it could be an HDR monitor acting up? I dunno, I've never had one.

Nah, I brightened the display and everything's fine. Didn't mean to make a stink about it, but yeah, it was the last scenes in the update with the MC & Beth with Charlotte sleeping next to them.

Thats the issue, the teaser looked fine to most of us, but at least 2 people made it sound like it looked pitch black to them.

It did seem too dark. I take screenshots of all the VNs I I play. I had to raise the brightness for that scene so i was able to tell what was going on. It's not the first I've done that for scenes in games, and I keep my brightness at a decent level.

My brightness is at 40% right now. So I am not so sure that is the issue.

Sorry @Cerberus Games - I didnt mean to highjack your thread. I just wanted to try to get more details so I can figure out what this issue is without Mac having to over-brighten every scene in the game (some scenes are dark-ish for a reason)

Yeah me too. It's alright. I really didn't mean to make a big stink over this. Apologies
