Lol, yeah that´s exactly the point... and so funny. "Die Insel" means "the island" in german

Images are an utter waste of resources currently. Should be 1080p instead of ridiculously large. These arent photo realistic characters. The lower res will upscale with no los of quality since there ISNT any quality difference. Also needs to be WebP (not webm). There is no excuse for 4 minutes of game to take this much bandwidth and hard drive space

Also in that 4 minutes of gameplay over 3 quarters of it is the girls whining they miss Rene with no substance to their conversation and in the miniscule amount of time remaining the MC manages to cum 3+ times. ALL the scenes need more substance.

Visuals with the scene/props are good. Girls are cute. Rene,.... looks creepy as fuck to me to be honest but looks similar to male models used in other german and russian VNs so maybe its just a cultural difference.

Love the art definitely. The game is beautiful. It could be just as beautiful and be nearly 1/10th of the bandwidth/hd space. 4k is a scam and a waste for anything that isnt trying to be true photo realistic.

Good luck with future progress too. If someone starts making compressed builds i'll continue playing in the future

You can render however you want but you should use .WEBP file format for the images as it'll reduce the file size without hurting the image quality.

A 6.29 MB image can be reduced to 757 KB and still look the same as the original. Same if you use videos if you use .WEBM format the video file size will be smaller.

It doesn't take long for a game to start hitting the gigabyte file size.

I use XnConvert which is free to convert images and it can mass convert and has many other options.

Yes, but you have to make sure you convert it into the kind of WebPs with lossless compression instead of lossy ones. Honestly, I'd much rather take the huge filesizes over smaller or lossier images. I think the dev is doing just fine as-is.
