Nice to hear from you, I realize that there are problems with the translation into English. Not everything makes sense in English as it does in German, I can understand that. If you ask two people you get two answers, but what is the right one? When something is translated into another language, it can be correct, but still not make sense. I'm trying to keep this down and I can assure you that Americans are looking at it too. Be patient and enjoy the art. If you like it. Thank you for your opinion.

no, it's because of your graphics card. I guess you have an AMD Readon that is a bit older. Just had such a case.

My guess is Die Insel is german for The Island.

You must be registered to see links
(almost always works).Basically - once started press Shift+G, then from the "Graphics Acceleration" menu that appears choose the renderer to use. Choose "Quit", then restart Ren'Py. Try using the GL or ANGLE renderers. The GLES renderers may not function on desktop hardware.
Die Insel does mean The Island in German.

Its not the english translation (I'm german and played the german version), you are switching between the characters too fast and too often. Stick to one Scene longer, let them talk more. For example the Sex-scene: He has fun with one girl, then the 2nd, and within seconds her sister appears and joins in. Give him more time with each girl (kissing, touching, groping, different positions) before bringing in the next. Also when you switch to what meanwhile the other girls are doing, use that to put up more background: How do they all know the MC, why are they on this Island, how do they know each other (or do they at all).
A Short Scentence in german: Es sieht von den Modellen her gut aus, aber es hat aktuell Storymäßig den Eindruck wie die billige Pornoszene warum liegt hier Stroh rum.

Die Grafik ist ok, aber bei der deutschen Version sollte der Text nochmal auf Rechtschreibung und Gramatik überprüft werden. Auch vermisse ich ein wenig Input was die Story angeht. Ich kann da nicht wirklich eine entdecken.

I actually like the fact that there is no involved story and so no long talking about this and that not related to what I am there to see. It's refreshingly different. You just have a number of beautiful girls with no inhibitions about sex who are all there to enjoy themselves. It's fun. I wouldn't like all VNs to be like that, but every so often it's really nice to not have to wade through all of that background stuff.
It would be somewhat complicated to explain why they are all there apparently without older people around. You would have to go through a lot of dialogue to explain the situation, and that would take away from the pure enjoyment of their various interactions with Rene.
Now, lead in story line can be fun too, like with "It's All Relative", but not every VN has to be like that.

At first, I honestly thought this game had to be a sequel. You're dropped straight into characters that aren't established in any way. They are all talking about someone named Rene who isn't present. Well isn't present until he immediately is present. Is this a translation problem? Seems more like a storytelling problem.

This feels like another comic strip conversion, and those pretty much don't have a story and minimal if any character intros, just mostly sex scenes made for those just wanting to fap, rather than get immersed in a story.
