I'm standing by my original assumption that it's not really him. Someone else is using his account.

I do actually worry about what you said though. I hadn't considered that he might have been hunted down. It happened to that Australian dev a few years back.

I really hope that's not what happened.

Has been a very long quiet stretch, looking unlikely we'll see any release here. Almost as disappointing as the original not continuing.

He logs in everyday but for some reason he doesn't say anything. If he can't release the game for whatever reason that is fine. He was doing it for free anyway, he doesn't owe us anything. It would just be nice to know what is going on even if it's bad news.

Dark Games was nice enough to try and pick up the (admittedly heavy) mantle and continue the EGBE game. He never once asked for support of any kind.

Maybe there are delays. Maybe making a game like this is a bit more time consuming than he expected.

But, now, we have people essentially stalking the guy and posting when he was last online. If I saw this behavior, I would probably go dark too.

100% stalking and posting his last online is creepy as hell. But a little update from him wouldn't hurt as well, as many people had high expectations for the remake

It's not even necessary to post it. It's easy enough to find out by just going back to the first page of the thread, finding where he posted, and hovering over his username.

its public, all you need to do is look, its like seeing the lights on in someones house.
