So y'all don't think it's weird to go around posting people's last seen on a thread even if it's 'public information'. Alright

If there is a legit reason to do that it is not weird at all. Trying to assess if a dev is still alive is a legit reason.

A dev not showing up for a game they promised is no reason to think they are not alive. Devs are constantly abandoning game projects, specially in this community.

I feel that just because it happens all the time doesn't mean we can't get worried about the dev and try to find out if they did just stop or if something happened.

I don't know how many of you out there have made or tried to make a game much less attempted a Remake of a game... There is a real SHIT TON of work and time involved.. I know because I have done it and it will eat a day up in the blink of an eye.. Dev's also have to step back for a break periodically; if for nothing else to keep what is left of any sanity they have... Just because he has not replied here or in maybe other threads may or may not mean he has left or given up...

This is once again "Future Projects" NOT "Promised Games" Future means later on with no set time or date... Not 12 hours form now, and Not day after tomorrow ( Which technically would be the correct thing to say as Tomorrow NEVER gets here. )

If some one really wanted to know how a dev is. They could just simply use the DM process, and try to contact them directly, and maybe say: Hey Dude how are things going, are things Ok with you cuz we have missed your input. Or something of that nature instead of speculating and going off in all directions....

Personally I feel like taking a picture like that isn't the best way but notifying people of how long it's been can be a good thing to bring attention, to if the creator is fine or not, especially if anyone who actually knows the creators sees and is able to comment.

Yes, I like to cover all my bases. Hence why I believe the activity screen showing "last seen" is misleading I feel.

Usually I'd agree with this but the dev literally gave us a release date i.e., June 1st. If they hadn't done that, or at least issued a statement after June 1 about delay/abandoning the project altogether people here wouldn't have been asking for updates in the first place.

Well, I for one will be checking on the heartbeat of this news. That game was a good use of storytelling for this particular genre. Although I enjoy some other titles very much, this one was clever...the possibilities are endless. Photography agency. Brilliant. Beats my idea on making a game where the MC is going to commit suicide, but you have to cover all bases making sure that not 1 person you leave behind is upset in any way with you. That script would have been hell to write. I'd have been reading a shit ton of Friedrich Nietzsche, Carl Jung, Allan Watts, and Peanuts. Lord have Mercy. So yeah, I'll keep the coffee warm while I wait for this one. Cheers.

the heartbeat on this has flat-lined really quick, radio silence from the dev for about 6 weeks now
