specifically when a rpgm game has the bog standard combat with literally nothing different. im ok with gameplay in things like this but if its tacked on as a "sure fuck it why not" i just feel you shouldnt bother.

Anything other than RenPy. 2D or 3D if it looks like a cartoon. Fantasy theme. Most of the time anything other than modern times and realistic (not realistic as in sex isn't easy but as in not having superpowers, Science Fiction, etc.)

Hate when the game goes on way too long and they make too many sequels. Usually ends up getting stale.

Gameplay too repetitive and bad UI are the biggest gripes for me. Text-heavy games without backlogs, have to grind for hours doing the same thing over and over for little progress, things like that.
