[Site News] Activity Score System for Members+

yeah, i went from like 24 reading score to over 75 just from clicking through and reading threads for 30 mins to an hour
So does this mean that the longer you read a post, the more corresponding points you get? However, I think there are still flaws; a fixed value should be set to better filter out quality users.

It's a fine line. Some of us know how to speed read while non-native English speakers might take a lot longer. Besides, there are posts with just a few words and posts which are several paragraphs long. I doubt any one setting is going to work for everyone.

I was out for a while and my reading score tanked.

The forum platform uses "Members" as a broad, permanent user group, while "Member+" is an upgraded role tier stacked on top of it.??? all those filtres.??? are like k'pis?

Do you know how the LC Bank interest system works to help me multiply my nondonation coins passively??

It seems you've woken up from a three-year coma - congratulations and welcome back. (y)

why you gotta be a dick lol

Because people don't bother to look for information on their own or actually read it, and after being a member for so long, everyone should have figured out how things work by now and at least grasped the basics.

Besides, that was meant to be ironic, not offensive.

I guess this is okay. I just don't have much time to make posts, and also don't have a lot to say. I'm not entirely sure how I would maintain my current status.

Exactly. On one hand you decry "low effort" and inane posts. On the other, you castigate someone for NOT posting unless they had something meaningful to say.
On the other hand, unlike the assholes on the SW website, here you can still delete your own messages whenever you see fit. (Within the rules, of course.) I hope that the right to delete your own messages remains a right for every forum member...

Every time... every damn time I see OP's name - I wanna play Fable again xD
I just don't have the energy to fight against that damn aiming system again :P (Also, the lost chapters spells just made the game too damn easy)

I don't know, I always have five browser tabs open on this site. Will this be considered cheating? I try to avoid log on/log off shit as much as possible. The same applies to my social networks and to the site, which it is better not to name here - I have about fifty tabs open there all the time (I closely follow the discussions of a number of games). Thank all the gods and goddesses, I don't have to be afraid of the police - we don't get arrested for this shit here or on similar sites, or for downloading/distributing torrents. What's the point of constantly logging in? I just can't comprehend it. If it's for the sake of staying in a closed section, damn it, I don't need all these hemorrhoids for the hell of it.

You are overthinking it, if you can break rules by accident then the rules are the problem. A lot of rule changes are made to prevent abuse, but in such cases the goal should be to stop the majority and just be a deterrent, otherwise regular users get affected.

Pretty interesting idea to generate more engagment.
Still not sure exactly how reading score is implemented, but I'm sure i'll figure it out.

cheers

Is it good to experience as a new player in 2026 or is it just nostalgia;
is it worth to play?
