I've mentioned this before and the query may (still) be related to current fixing/bug sorting/ongoing development. I have tried a couple of times to purchase 'Premium' rank, but the system keeps telling me that I have inadequate funds, despite my having more than the required amount of LC - I always move the required LC to the wallet from the Vault prior to trying to purchase. Is this a bug, or is this feature not yet implemented?

Regarding the Shop in general, this now seems quite comprehensive and user-friendly; the one exception is the 'Mining' section, which just confuses the hell outa me!

On a general level, thank you for what has obviously involved considerable work and effort in trying to make the LC site a workable and reliable place to be. Despite the inevitable criticisms, the work of the entire Admin team is greatly appreciated. Thank you

I have a question regarding account age. I created mine 2-3 days ago but it still shows an age of 1 day. Could it be that it counts the days as cumulative hours online?
My excuses if I missed a general post on that aspect.

Sorry to be a bother, but having trouble finding info on whether the trust scores and 7-day minimum apply to the donator version of member+. Also, can anyone tell me if the credits listed under donation are donation coins? bit confused by the multiple currencies.

You dont need to create threads. You get points for all manner of things. You dont have to do everything, just use and enjoy the site.

Thanks but I don't mean me, I mean if people who want members+ have to create a thread as a condition that will mean useless threads. Of course if its just one of several ways to get it, its fine. It just read like a checklist of requirements not a menu of options.

The previous, already abandoned, system mandated a Thread creation
This system merely awards a social credit score based on activity and actions, with certain actions being sub-divided further, replies and threads, and the reception thereof, give Posting Score, being generally present on the site viewing threads gives Reading, certain profile system actions and duration of account life give Trust(maybe also Likes?) and all of this stuff contributes to the general Activity Score
Threadposting is unnecessary but if you do, it'll be acknowledged

Well my timing is just terrible! I learned about this site's existence yesterday, and I received an admin message upon signup stating that "Some content (incl. restricted games) requires 350 credits or $20." Ironically, during the transition, I was able to access games+ material, and recent updates (from my perspective) revoked access to things I was able to see yesterday! I was initially planning to donate after that, but the whirlwind of changes in the last 24h has made me second-guess. Which isn't to say I won't donate, I just am really struggling to keep up with what's going on here. I was also discouraged from donating due to the lack of automatic crypto support.

I seriously considered just moving on from the site due to the new posting requirement, and the only reason I'm writing this message is to try to fulfill that requirement. I am a hardcore lurker and frankly hate having to write anything at all... I have a 15 year reddit account with 1 karma because I literally never talk! So for me, if I want to use this site now, I'm just going to do the absolute bare minimum posting to qualify for members+, then you'll probably never hear from me again... which doesn't feel like real engagement. For what it's worth, the other requirements don't bother me and I understand the reasons behind it, but having to make comments just feels to me like it's bound to add a bunch of noise from lurkers like me.

That all being said, the reason I am still here is that I'm hopeful for what this site is trying to achieve. I hope this message is treated as feedback rather than criticism!

The only reason you had access at all was because the Admins were testing engagement by removing the restriction. The restriction itself has always been in place, you just coincidentally signed up the ONE time you had access without needing Members+ benefits. While I understand your 'perspective' is that access was revoked, the reality is that you actually had access temporarily granted. You joined during a tumultuous time as Admins figure out and sharpen what Members+ access requirements look like, and they are very active and forward when it comes to what changes are made, how they impact users, and open to feedback for the system overall.

Even having said all that, the current system requires less social interaction and commenting then any of the previous ones, so you've actually joined at a time more beneficial to your social preferences than any time before this. On top of that, if you choose to donate, you circumvent the requirement system entirely regardless of any changes they have made or will make.

You are perfectly welcome, and even encouraged if it's your preference, to hit the requirements for Members+ access and never comment or socialize again. I can promise you the majority of users are in that same camp, and there's nothing wrong with that at all. It's early to say for sure, but I would suspect that once you get your first yearly Members+ access, getting enough Activity score over the course of that year for your next one wouldn't be nearly as taxing on the social side of things.
