Maybe not in terms of lewd content. But I think something like a secret sex-cult with forced breeding (basically amounting to brainwashed rape) would definitely be considered taboo in normal society.
Loved the developers first game with all the various endings, and this game has all the various things I loved about that game.
As for Taboo it just doesn't mean incest and yes there are plenty of other taboos in this game.
Hint: Criminal underground, drugs, and crazy sex cults.

Have yet to find a ViNovella game that I haven't enjoyed. My only question is whether we'll ever get a mod to be able to get all the story path from the branch we didn't get to investigate in Book One (Winners, cult, or Syndicate). Would love to be able to do that all in one playthrough instead of having to do a second playthrough to get that third branch.

There's actually two: Irene from the Cult, and your roommate Josie if you chose her to be trans.
But I get it. With so many characters, I would have been down to a few more TS/Futa characters. I like their models in this game.
The walk-through mod allows you to finish every story path otherwise yeah you need to pick two out of three to play.

Adds options for extra content in the later parts of Book 2.
Installation:
Move taboo.rpy into TabooUniversityBookTwo/game folder.
Needs to be installed only once per playthrough (save).

Fix for anyone playing Book One through JoiPlay:
To unlock the Escaping the Matrix achievement you have to click the 'This is a nightmare' option in the last nightmare sequence.
Because the android apk version doesn't have achievements this option gets completely hidden if platform = renpy.android which is also true for JoiPlay even though we're running the windows files.
This fix skips that check and thus reenables the option to get all achivements.
