Activity Score System for Members+
A cleaner, fairer way to reward real LewdCorner activity

LewdCorner Monthly Support
If you enjoy the site and want to help keep everything running smoothly this month, donations are always appreciated.
Every bit helps with server costs, maintenance, updates, and keeping LC moving forward.

What Is Changing?

LewdCorner is moving away from tracking exact “hours online” for Members+ eligibility.
Instead, LewdCorner will use an Activity Score system.
This means Members+ eligibility will be based on real site activity, not sitting online, refreshing pages, changing browsers, using a VPN, or leaving a tab open.
Activity Score is about real engagement, not hours online.

Why We Are Not Using Hour Tracking

Tracking exact hours sounds simple, but it creates problems fast.
Users would eventually ask:
  • “Why did I only get 30 minutes?”
  • “I was online for 2 hours, why did it not count?”
  • “Does idle time count?”
  • “Does refreshing count?”
  • “Does staying on one page count?”
  • “Why did my activity stop?”
That turns the system into a timer dispute.
Activity Score avoids that.
Instead of asking how many minutes counted, users can simply see progress toward Members+.

What Activity Score Means

Activity Score is earned by using LewdCorner normally.
Good activity includes:
  • Visiting the site
  • Reading different threads
  • Posting real replies
  • Creating real threads
  • Interacting with other users
  • Receiving reactions on useful posts
  • Building account trust over time
Activity Score is not meant to reward fake activity.
It is not for:
  • Refreshing the same page repeatedly
  • Changing browsers to reset activity
  • Using a VPN to appear different
  • Using multiple phones/devices to farm
  • Posting spam
  • Using alts to boost reactions
  • Bot-like activity

Members+ Eligibility

To buy Members+ through the shop, users will need to meet activity requirements.
Code:
Members+ Eligibility:
- Enough LewdCoins / Credits
- 500 Total Activity Score
- 100 Posting Score
- 75 Reading Score
- 50 Trust Score
- Account must be at least 7 days old
- No serious unresolved activity flags
This helps stop brand-new accounts, bots, alts, and low-effort farming accounts from instantly buying Members+.

How Activity Score Is Earned

ActivityExample ScoreHow It Works
Daily Visit/Login+5 once per dayCounts once per account per day. It does not matter if the user changes browser, phone, VPN, or device.
Reading Threads/Pages+1 to +3Rewards reading different content. Staying on one page to read replies is normal and should not hurt users.
Valid Reply/Comment+10Rewards real participation. Spam, deleted posts, or extremely low-effort replies should not count much or at all.
Valid Thread Creation+15 to +25Rewards users who add real content to LewdCorner.
Giving Reactions+1Rewards interaction lightly, but should not be farmable.
Receiving Reactions+3Rewards posts other users actually value.
Verified Email+25 one-timeAdds account trust.
Account Older Than 7 Days+25 one-timeHelps stop throwaway account farming.
Account Older Than 30 Days+50 one-timeRewards older legitimate accounts.

Important Daily Visit Rule

Daily visit/login score should only count once per account per day.
It should not reset from:
  • A different browser
  • A different phone
  • A different computer
  • A VPN
  • Clearing cookies
  • Private/incognito mode
One account = one daily visit reward per day.

About Idling On Pages

Idling on one page should not be treated as a major problem by itself.
Some users leave a page open because they are:
  • Reading long replies
  • Going through a thread slowly
  • Typing a response
  • Comparing posts
  • Leaving the tab open while still using the site normally
So idling should not heavily punish users.
The better rule is:
Code:
Idling on one page = not a big issue by itself
Refreshing the same page repeatedly = should not farm score
One page open forever = should not generate unlimited score
Real browsing + real interaction = counts more

What Will Not Earn Much Score

These actions should not meaningfully increase Activity Score:
  • Refreshing the same page repeatedly
  • Opening the same page over and over
  • Using multiple browsers/devices to fake activity
  • Posting short spam replies
  • Posting deleted or removed content
  • Reaction farming with friends or alts
  • Bot-like browsing patterns
This does not mean normal users are punished.
It just means fake activity should not help unlock Members+.

Anti-Farm Protection

LewdCorner should not allow someone to unlock Members+ by repeating one easy action over and over.
Example of what should not happen:
A user posts 100 low-effort replies and instantly unlocks Members+.
Instead, the system should use diminishing returns.
Code:
First 5 valid replies today = full score
Next 5 valid replies today = reduced score
After that = very little score or no score
This means active users can still earn Activity Score, but farming becomes pointless.
Diminishing returns can apply to:
  • Replies
  • Thread views
  • Reactions
  • Shop actions
  • Thread creation

Mixed Activity Matters

Activity Score should not be one giant number that can be farmed from one action.
The system should track different categories.
Code:
Total Score
Reading Score
Posting Score
Reaction Score
Received Reaction Score
Trust Score
Risk Penalty Score
This means users need real mixed activity.
A user should not be able to unlock Members+ by only clicking pages, only posting replies, or only farming reactions.

Shop Overview Display

The shop overview should show clear progress.
Code:
Activity Score: 370 / 500
Posting Score: 80 / 100
Reading Score: 60 / 75
Trust Score: 50 / 50
Status: Not eligible yet
Once eligible:
Code:
Activity Score: 520 / 500
Posting Score: 120 / 100
Reading Score: 90 / 75
Trust Score: 75 / 50
Status: Eligible for Members+
This is easier to understand than hours.
Users see progress without needing to argue over exact time tracking.

Suspicious Activity Handling

Suspicious activity does not mean instant punishment.
Low-confidence flags should be cleared or hidden automatically.
Only serious, high-confidence activity should affect eligibility.
Code:
Low confidence flag = auto-cleared / hidden
Medium confidence flag = watch only
High confidence flag = admin review
Very high confidence flag = pause eligibility until reviewed
If a user has serious unresolved activity flags, Members+ can be blocked until reviewed.
Code:
Status: Not eligible
Reason: Account activity requires review
Low-confidence false flags should not block normal users.

Risk Penalty

Serious suspicious activity can apply a temporary penalty.
Code:
Total Score: 500
Risk Penalty: -100
Effective Score: 400
Required Score: 500
Status: Not eligible yet
If the flag is cleared, the penalty can be removed.
This allows the system to deal with abuse without permanently destroying legitimate progress.

Why Activity Score Is Better Than Hours

Hour TrackingActivity Score
Users argue over exact timeUsers see clear progress
Idle reading can be misunderstoodNormal reading is allowed
Refresh farming is confusingRepeated fake actions can be ignored
Feels like a timerFeels like reputation/progress
Harder to explainEasier to understand

Help Keep LewdCorner Running This Month
Site updates, server costs, maintenance, and new systems like this all take time and resources.
If you want to support LewdCorner this month, donations help keep everything stable and moving forward.

No pressure. Just support the site if you enjoy what we are building here.

Final Members+ Requirement

Members+ Eligibility Score
Code:
500 Total Activity Score
100 Posting Score
75 Reading Score
50 Trust Score
Account older than 7 days
No serious unresolved activity flags

Final Goal

The goal is not to punish normal users.
The goal is to make Members+ require real LewdCorner activity.
Users should earn eligibility by actually using the site, not by idling, refreshing, spamming, VPN/device switching, or botting.
This makes the shop system:
  • Cleaner
  • Harder to abuse
  • Easier to understand
  • Better for real users
  • Less dependent on confusing time tracking
Activity Score rewards real LewdCorner engagement, not fake activity.

sorry about another forced thread, got a better idea for a system then the previous one.

oh also this system now looks at previous time to, so you may already racked up enough score.

I like this implementation a lot, I been here only for 2 weeks and, as a new user, experiencing so many changes in so little time feels really overwhelming, everything else I love it, it would be great if we can keep things without mayor changes for a few weeks at least. anyways thank you for your hard work.

Just trying to get a proper system which I think this will be

It's a bit complex but more reasonable, what I can see there are two "bugs":
  1. short_window -> there is a threshold that ignores short activity less than 60s I think
  2. I don't understand when reading score is increased, because reading threads/pages doesn't increase the value, but somehow at some point it's increased but not for all threads visited

I like this a lot, its somewhat more opaque(not as a negative, just as a natural fact of being aggregate social credit scores), but much more flexible both in what content it wants to see from users, and in your ability to adjust dials on what is worth what, or even use the score for other matters(eg if it works well it might serve as a useful trust heuristic for moderation)

A new thread and locking the old one was absolutely warranted to defuse confusion and ensure everyone stays on the same page

2. Had to be done because of the technique I used for antibotting same for 1.

Yeah, but that can be frustrating if an action is ignored, for example I see that I have to stay on the same page for an amount of seconds and then the value is increased, but after then I have to move to another thread to increase the value again, casual user could not be aware of this behaviour and could complain about "broken counter".

Other issue is about visible value, it's a boolean, but this value is about if the window is visible when the message is sent, this should instead means if the window has been visible for more than 50% of the interval, for example:
  • user stays on the page for 60s but then he open another tab one second before the action post request -> his actions are ignored, but they shouldn't

Two questions:
1. Where can I see the member / member+ status? Is it still the little banner/ icon below where it says members? Wouldn't it be less confusing to just make it say members+?
2. Once a member has achieved members+ status, what are the additional points earned good for? (I'm thinking of the game show "Whose Line Is It Anyway" where "everything is made up and the points don't matter". Yes, they actually said that at the start of each episode!)

Both ways you described are loopholes for macroing

2. Badges and other systems I’m working on, 1. You have m+ in working on a badge for it to

This is so much better that it cant even be compared to the previous iteration. In my case it's still a bit weird, having gotten to the finish line in this changing environment, all that I lack behind on is the reading score. While my posting score is 5 times of the requirement, so nobody should be pressured into posting and posting. I see this being great for new members who get to jump through these hoops in the intended way. And I can read for those 75 points without feeling like you threw everything that I have done in my face. The reading score seems a bit like witchcraft to me too as if I actually needed to read for it to advance but it's a 1 minute time window ok, ok. Way better.

This got a ton more complicated...
In a way it's the coins system again but with extra steps

At least some of it is retroactive.

- 50 Trust Score
The only thing I see that adds trust is having a verified Email.

Important Daily Visit Rule

Daily visit/login score should only count once per account per day.
It should not reset from:
What about people like me who are logged in 24/7?
Because the last time, when we had the Login Coin Bonus, I didn't get anything, even through I was actively posting each day. For some reason it didn't register me, even if I logged out and in again.

I get why it's a thing, especially because you'd be able to farm score by just visiting every thread.
But this also means people should only spend little time per day on LC, so that the diminishing return won't kick in and make your activity pointless.

trust is something that i wont say what it is for, just know that youll get it.

system previous 3 years ago had issues, if it doesnt log tomorrow, i will take a look.

i wont discuss this matter, just note that it doesnt matter what time of day or if you leave and come back always tracked per day.

How can users work towards getting Members+ if they don't know how to fulfill one of the requirements?

A way to check for users if they got it? Can't seem to find it.

again everyone gets it, dont worry about it.
A way to check for users if they got it? Can't seem to find it.
this will be added tomorrow (bit late for me)
