Story wise? It's good, great. Some may even say amazing.

But I don't really understand where the 'VN' comes into place. I thought Visual Novels has you make choices?

With that said, I've been playing this game for two years because it's interesting enough to keep coming back. I've enjoyed my play-through and always have left being satisfied where the update ends.

Please play. 8/10

You don't need to make choices in VNs technically. There are some choices in this game though which slightly change scenes and I kind of think there will be fail state endings at some point but it is doubtful that there will be any bad endings no matter how it progresses.

The amount of LIs the MC has and the devs obvious avoidance of any kind of NTR makes any bad end very unlikely, so this should just be seen as a kind of semi interactive movie.

This game is more like a kinetic novel. You have a lot of fun reading it and don't need to worry too much about the choices.

Not all VNs imply choice. There is a whole genre of kinetic novels. I think they can still be enjoyable despite our lack of agency, as long as the story is actually good.

Then I guess this is the only Kinetic one I like, cause they usually stink.

I actually don't remember the last time I played a kinetic VN other than Cosy Cafe. Maybe Nekopara a very long time ago?
