It is hilarious that Youtube is going to spin this to be a "for the safety of children" thing to stay in line with the legislation, but they have porn ads running on their website that they refuse to moderate. Like hooray, if Youtube thinks you are a child you don't get personalized ads anymore. In theory means that children are more likely to see porn ads though does it not? Correct me if I am wrong but if they turn off their ad personalizing, instead of being shown ads for toys and roblox and the like, suddenly it just shows ads at random, or vaguely related to whatever video is playing, which means they can now be subject to the mobile game ads with full on anime tits and pussy in them if they are watching a video about video games like roblox or fortnite or whatever is popular with them now. Am I crazy? Is this just something I am making up here, because it seems like the logical outcome.

Your talking about a site that uses bots for tech support

Banned swearing first 7 secs???

Made shorts there focus yet its still can cause issues during playback and the money earned is worse that a full video

Do to auto checks you can get a tos strike on something you own i got one because a game had a video in the game of something IRL

A rule in 2025 can affect a video from 2010

I can go on and on but youtube heck google has to real competition so in the end they do not give a fuck at all.

Wasn't this already a thing? I remember stumbling across my "ads profile" on the youtube app last year. As far as youtube and advertiser know, I'm a 40 years old woman. But I'm guessing they're pushing an even more invasive AI to pinpoint exactly who you are.

Honestly instead of trying to figure out the age of the use, they should be cracking down on the problematic video that get hundred thousands of view, shit like boarderline gore and body horror. Seriously, I was looking up copyright free music, and the first 5 video that showed up is a guy losing his eyeballs. what the fuck.
