I'd check it out if it's a game that provides meaningful choices. If it's just another one of those games that in reality is just a kinetic novel going down two paths (usually a love and a corruption one), then I'll probably pass.

Never heard of that site before. Shit you have to sign up for though, and no idea if it looks good or shit cartoons.

Most stories I've seen there aren't illustrated- if they have anything it's usually just a picture of some model or porn start to illustrate what a character looks like.

You also don't technically have to sign up but some stories are censored if you don't- I think Patreon or payment processors or someone threatened them so if you aren't logged in words like "rape" or "sister" are just missing entirely. Like not blacked out or anything, the word is just not there and a bunch of sentences are confusing until you figure out what's going on.

isn't there an entire website that offers CYOA stories of all kinds? I remember stumbling upon it at some point, had all possible kinks known to man and paragraphs that were sometimes good sometimes so bad you had a brain meltdown. There's a definitely a niche type of interactive stories, but yeah, there's audience for it. Now, if you'll turn that CYOA story into an actual CYOA VN or CYOA sandbox game, preferably in Ren'py, then you have a winner. I mean, there's a bunch of games that follow that idea, just think of their descriptions and dialog as a 1 liner instead of a paragraph. The vast majority of html games here offer CYOA style gameplay with other additions. So yeah, there's interest, go for it!

Fair point and believe me, I´d LOVE to write an entire VN, but I suck at it. Believe me I tried.... didn´t work at all

And since I´m not the most mentally stable person (Borderline) and can´t really "work with" stress and disappointment, I don´t even try anymore but instead concentrate on what I caan do

Well, here's the fun fact about writing. You don't stop at your first draft. You finish the draft, take an axe, hack it until you learn a thing or two from it by rewriting and editing, THEN you start your 2nd draft. Grind and repeat and remember: chances are you'll never be satisfied with your draft. Not many writers and authors are (none are... to be truthful. Big names as Stephen King confessed they currently are not a big fan of their earlier works, they would love to rewrite those, but they are a mark in history, their history) so what you can do is just put it out there, let the fans like it or hate it and you just work on improving and doing better in your next one.

Oh the writing part isn´t the problem.
I actually have some expreience with writing (especially adventures for P&P but I wrote a few other short stories and stuff.
The rest is the problem. Programming, art and all the other stuff.

That´s why I limit myself to writing for now

Well you can´t have TOTAL freedom in a CYOA-Story but I´m always trying to give enough plausible choices at least.
