I'm seeking recommendations for the best visual novel games, taking into account factors like graphics, storyline, duration, emotional impact, and player experience. Please share your suggestions, and feel free to include any personal opinions or frustrations you've encountered while playing.

How can one answer such a question without knowing your tastes and preferences. One game is a masterpiece for someone, for someone else it's garbage. For example, I don't like the very popular Summertime Saga and Being a DIK. It's rash to rely on someone's individual opinion, especially a stranger.

Lol, none

Hmm, maybe perverteer or zetan or phillygames. They have some nice ones

The closest I could think of is Acting Lessons but I genuinely think of a porn game with that amazing/pandering of a plot to get an Oscar

Summers gone would be great if not for development time
I second this opinion. If Summer's Gone is ever finished, it might be worthy of such a hypothetical award. Though it might fumble things completely before getting there, of course.

I can't think of anything that's overwhelmingly good. I can only recommend my personal favorite being Desert Stalker.

Light of my Life. I seriously could see that story adapted to the big screen.

What if OP is a rash person, though? They actually want advice, knowing that it may fizzle for them, but wanting it regardless?

I personally acted by trial and error. If the game/VN didn't captivate me for 30-40 minutes of gameplay - to the trash. As a result, I found "my" games on my own, without looking at the ratings (I already gave the example of Summertime Saga above). Don't be afraid to explore - it broadens your horizons.

Heh. Ironically, I would consider your method rash by my own standards. It's overused time.

Fair enough, though. Whatever works for you.

Thanks 4 this, maybe i will try to play this, curious 🤔. Is the story long now?

'Season 1' has wrapped up. There is quite a lot of content there.
