more than 10gbs is too much to even download. Buuuuuut maybe if the game is actually good I can go for 10-15gb limit

Sweet affection is 24 or 9gb now!!! Thats a big chunk of a hard drive. Havent play it in years, but that seems unjustified. Maybe someone will come to say its worth it, and i can give ti a shoot.... but 24gb?????

I don't have a limit but I think twice if the game is 10GB (if it's too heavy and I don't like the game, I would have wasted a lot of time downloading it for nothing x:)

I not have really space limit if I feeling inaf I like game, but when we speaking very big size games its need be very good one then.

If a game is over 5 gb I like it if they made a part 2 or have later parts of the game be in a rpa that you can download separately and add to the game file. This is not for hd space, it just suck having a download over that size mess up and have to start over.

I don't really care, I have a 6 tb HDD for anything where disk access time isn't important. I never delete anything but if I were filling it up I could always sort my game folders by last modified and start deleting anything I never open.

My personal limit seems to be around 10 gigs, everything above needs to be compressed.

I just play erogames, so beyond 5Gb I start to think if I really want to download it or not. Over 10 Gb I might to be sure I really want that game.

Bigger to me would signify more content so I cant say I really have a size limit.

The more trying issue would be how many free hosting services do I need to deal with to download the full game....

That´s imo the only issue. I delete games, I do not play, since I only have a small Notebook SSD. Thanks to Renpy, you don´t even need to save the save files.

If I know it's worthwhile or suspect it is, then I'll download regardless of size.
If it's a keeper I might stash it away on the NAS or the external disk.

Some I keep on the main SSD drive on the pc. When they become really large, HD speed becomes an issue.

I just want to point out something. I am not a tin foil hat wearing conspiracy theorist, but I do feel the need to point this out. Depending on the country in which you reside, some of the “media” on “certain” websites could be deemed illegal. The laws vary from country to country, so what might be illegal in one country might be perfectly legal in another. What I am getting at is this.

Never volunteer information about yourself, ever. There are people who watch for things that people say and do. Something as innocent as telling people what “type” of data storage, PC type or Service provider you have “could” aid certain types who know alot more about a digital paper trail than you do. Next thing you know, men in black are kicking in your door and arresting you and confiscating everything in your home that goes beep.

Get a remote VPN from a company who is based in a net neutral country. Most VPN services are in countries that save you data!! If you have NORD VPN, you should uninstall it post haste and get something else. If you think your expensive hardware VPN will protect you and you live in the USA, think again. CyberGhost VPN is based in Romania where they have fiercely protected privacy laws. They are one of very few countries who have laws specifically designed to protect your data. Nord VPN is USA based and will sell your soul if they think they can make a buck on it. They are currently in the middle of a 100 million dollar class action lawsuit in the USA. Worried yet?

Again, I am not trying to scare people or start anything. I just think that asking people “specific” questions about their internet habits is a bad idea.

Around 2 TB because I would not buy a new m.2 for a smut game but anything below that - why not?
Internet nowadays means you can download it in the background and still have enough bandwith fro anything else

Yeah, I'll usually go for a compressed version, especially if the game is over 2-3 GB... Some games are just absurdly large (9GB+) ... and then the compressed version is just fine at 2.
I generally keep the ones I like, but delete/replace when a new version comes around. Savegames are kept anyway.

I have a pretty decent SSD of 2TB on which I almost always have at least 900GB available, so as long as it's below 800 GB or something I'm fine with it.

it depends on the file host. Is the download is fast, the size doesnt matter

I think twice when it's over 2GB, my problem isn't so much the storage space, it's the download time. I've got a whole house of people here that're all running off the same WiFi router and anytime someone DL's something we get a bottleneck in streaming speeds. (I'm not tech savvy enough to know the actual cause of the bottleneck, I just know it happens.) If two TVs are watching Netflix, two computers are watching YT, and a third person is playing an online game, there's just no way I can DL something that's going to buffer everyone for 5 minutes or more. I can DL at night when everyone's asleep, but that comes with its own set of problems. Added to that is the fact that almost all of these games are incomplete and will need to be DL'd multiple times before the game is complete, just makes me keep looking for something else when I see the game size is too big.

I mean disk space it's limited so do you have a max size when downloading one of these games, i myself try to stay under 5 gigs, but if a game looks really good or i'm already invested i'm willong to go up to 20

i just download and if i run out of space i uninstall an old game to play the new one...
but i still have 2 drives that i can still fill up quite a bit
