I have no idea why but when i read Western Movie - Wild Wild West with Will Smith came to my mind the first second, it's a great Movie i can only recommend.

Just want to add a couple that I haven't seen here yet.

For Comedy:
1) Support your local Sherrif (love the jail with no bars)
2) Support your local Gun Fighter
3) The Villian with Arnold Schwarzenegger

Not sure if it counts as a 'Western':
1) Jeremiah Johnson (it's about a mountain man so not sure)
2) Outlaw Josie Wales (It's Clint Eastwood but is it a western or civil war movie?)

My name is Nobody is also good with blend of humor and serious parts

Just a thought

the godfather, the godfather 2, Scarface, the fifth element, star wars before the craping and can't forget john wick

Those are not Western Movies as far as i can tell.

You might want to look up what "Western" means when it comes to a movie. It does NOT mean one that was made in a Western country.

3:10 to Yuma, the remake version and Magnificent Seven, both the original and the remake.

True Grit, the remake and maybe Ballad of Buster Scruggs as well.

I would probably add No Country for Old Men, but that's more neo-western than traditional.

To make it short: Cowboys, colts and mostly either gold or redskins (sorry if its political incorrect, i honestly dont know an english word not pointing to india people)

Does the TV show Firefly and the folowing movie Serenity count?

as for propper westerns, the good, the bad and the ugly is the one that comes to mind the most.

Anybody ever watch any Sam Peckinpaw stuff? Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia is pretty cool. The Wild Bunch as well

Native American is the correct term.

Let's propose a classic: The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance
