Or play something like Kamidori, Eiyuu Senki, and you can get suck into the actual gameplay. Sometimes, you forget you're actually playing an adult game until the goon scenes play.

I also quite liked Merge Nymphs, though that's an unapologetic Merge Dragons clone with some porn added.

It's a difficult question... because you can have fun with an AVN, but many have zero replay value, so I wouldn't say they're “fun to play” either, because even if you have fun on the first run, it doesn't mean you'll want to play again when you want to have fun.



Of all the porn games I've played, I think only the RPG-based ones are really “fun,” and the well-made sandbox ones. But they're extremely rare to find; many games are just porn galleries with extra steps.



Now, when you find the ones that are actually GAMES with porn content... hell, those are fun.

degrees of lewdity can be pretty fun imo, but the artwork is not super high quality. there are mods though that improvve it a lot

I like some sandbox games, but most of then dont have very good game mechanics
So in being fun to play the japanese games are better in m opnion, one that i remember was goblin walker that i found prety fun

To me, this wouldn't necessarily be the mini-games, but the choices that actually matter. Games with multiple routes and/or outcomes.
It's a different type of exploration, and can be a decent indicator for a good game. Acting Lessons is a good example, hard to forget that one.

E.g. Man of the House, The Headmaster, Collage Life just to name a few.

I really like the mechanic of Re;Lord (strip battler), especially the last game of the series. Wish it had more depth by making the elements interact with each other, with the heroine's clothing, or with the enemies in a more meaningful way. For example, casting ice on cloth makes it more fragile, therefore, more susceptible to damage without significantly hurting the heroine's HP. Or by making lightning have the ability to stun an enemy, cancelling their attack. Make it a percent chance if the target is a named character. However, it will be more deal more HP damage than other spell types, so you have to juggle whether to just block part of the incoming damage to you to preserve the heroine's HP for more chances of stripping her or cast that lightning spell to save yourself. (Although the game's story leaves a bitter taste in your mouth.)

Same sentiment goes with Parade Buster.
