hand drawn nothing beats good old 2d in my opinion

Gonna be honest I voted for them all haha. It's just that the creativity of the game has to work with the art. For example one thing that stood out with futanariums gate is that it had these hand-drawn supernatural powers along with some eldrich/lovecraftian scenes that really clicked with the creator's artstyle.

effort on the dev's part in other aspects of the game (story, mechanics, etc) matter more than just art

Personally, 3D > Hand Drawn > Anime

realistic 3d for me in general but i do think it depends on the story. Some would be weird if they were 3D imo.
