What is the most immersive game you played?

SFW: Skyrim, even on really weak laptop with only touchpad i explored it for hours. Clannad, Rewrite+,
NSFW: Once in a lifetime, Majikoi

for sfw any of the dragon age games for nsfw companion of darkness

Though I have other games in mind. I would say Factorio was my most immersive game since it haunted my dreams.

One of the most immersive games is The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Its open world is rich with detail, and the freedom to explore, interact with NPCs, and craft your own story makes it feel incredibly engaging. The world feels alive, and the depth of its lore allows for a truly immersive experience. Another strong contender would be Red Dead Redemption 2, which offers an equally detailed world, stunning visuals, and a compelling narrative that makes you feel like you're really living in that time period.

The Long Dark, The Forest. you could "feel" the weather ant the setting was very immersive

Don't know if it's the MOST immersive, lotta games have sucked me in, but Death Stranding was the most surprising in that regard. I never thought I would enjoy a game about walking and delivering Amazon packages so much.

I was completely enthralled by the world of Grounded, survival in a 'Honey I Shrunk the Kids' scenario executed brilliantly. The combat is great, really nice gear progression system, exploration is amazing, collectables, building. Just thinking about it makes me want to replay it.

+1 on Death Stranding. I don't know how they did it, but the game just hits different.

Cyberpunk 2077 is it for me, bought on first release and saw how bad it was, came back when phantom liberty came out and damn near cried, game ended up being what I thought it to be when all the trailers for it first came out, probably my favorite video game setting of all time too

I think kingdom come deliverance and the sequel is the most immersive games I have played! Cyberpunk 2077 too

Nothing has ever beaten the experience of me playing RDR2

I remember one day deciding to just start hunting some rare animal for a quest, and getting so sucked into the world that I spent an entire hour slowly sneaking around in the woods, laying bait, missing my shot, quietly tracking the tracks, finally killing the animal, and getting to just sit back and take in the forest environment ... It's such an incredible amount of detail that perfectly sucked me in

Also, Hollow Knight in the city of tears got me absolutely immersed
